 I missed the last 3 rounds of that. Madrimov looked too overeager in the first two rounds though.

Sky with a very glossy & well-produced hype piece on Usyk ahead of his fight with Spong.

For what its worth, the fact that I'm picking GGG by KO and relatively early, says NOTHING about how I rate Derevyanchenko, which is highly. I just see this match as stylistically easier and more advantageous for GGG than many other MW's would be. But Sergey gives every other MW not named GGG hell IMO. Including Canelo and even Saunders. Even though I lean Canelo and Saunders, but with less confidence.

Agreed. GGG's chin is too strong and Sergei isn't fast enough to beat GGG imo. Bad style match up for him. But I also think that Canelo would counter him to death.

"Bellew is technically better than Usyk" - Sky commentator.

Which blind airhead said that, can someone remind me?

I think it'll start out relatively close, but SD will get tagged and hurt, go defensive, and be walked down and eventually stopped in 5-6 by GGG. While Sergey's head movement and defense is underrated, GGG's just too good at finding and making openings, and Sergey is open to uppercuts and looping overhands, and especially that weird looping forehead shot that GGG took out Rubio and Rolls with. Sergey was hurt slightly against Culcay, which is troubling and he was dropped early and slightly hurt by Jacobs, so I think when GGG catches him and hurts him, his finishing instincts are far better and he doesn't have to fear what's coming back at him, and he'll finish the job.

Totally agree, expecting Golovkin to discombobulate him at some point and finish him in round six.

I favour GGG to either stop SD late or win on points in a competitive fight. But SD is a very good fighter and GGG is considerably past his prime and moving further away from it with each fight and I've seen a few little things in his last few fights which have concerned me.
