I think the cut actually helped SD. Had he not gotten cut the fight would have been slower paced being more advantageous to GGG. But since he was cut, SD had to turn on the afterburners the whole fight to make up for the early KD. That really kept GGG at bay and made it razor close in my book.

One thing I will agree with you is GGG would land a solid ass hard effective punch to the head, Mora wouldn't say a ****ing word, then Sergei lands some body shots and Mora starts jizzing his pants. He probably repeated a hundred times how Sergei turned GGG and was landing body shots lol.

beat the crap out of him is abit much... GGG canelo Jacobs and sergiy are pretty much all in the same category when they fight its gonna be 115-113 116-112 fights. none of them gonna blow any of the others out .

I had GG 114-113. All Derevyanchenko had to do was win the last round on my card and he didn’t. Dock was terrible today and he’s a good ref.

McGirt would be a great choice for GGG

Canelo easily beat Jacobs, he just gassed out and lost a couple rounds at the end.

I thought it was Kovalev who folded over like a deck chair with his head between his own knees.

Even according to stats GGG outlanded SD.

Okay, but dude...rewind to round 3 for a sec. Derevyanchenko blatantly hurt Golovkin with body shots, and even before that was getting the better of him with the jab. After hurting Golovkin, he pressed him across the ring and landed a bunch more, and none of it was pit-pat stuff and none landed on the arms or elbows. So...how was that a Golovkin round? That is mainly what's tripping me up here. The rest of the rounds you gave him, whatever, yeah, this was the kind of fight where a lot of rounds are close. But the dude was straight up mugged in round 3.

Exactly. The narrative was being pushed and pushed hard, and most of the people on here ate it up with a spoon.

It definitely came from a punch.

    GGG dodged a bullet tonight.

I scored it by a point for SD.

But one round scored differently would have given it to GGG.

I feel GGG's best is behind him. Age catches up to everyone.

GGG needs to go back to Abel. As the commentators said, Abel seems more authoritative. The corner was lackadaisical and I wonder if it was like that in camp. We saw this with Hatton and Cotto; changing trainers after some close fights. Sometimes you just need to stick to what works.

Decision was fair on my cards. Fight was close.
