For once I agree with you mate. Casuals have been crying robbery Overy every close fight lately. GGG vs SD was a close fight, Spence vs Porter was a close fight. Both times the guy with the knockdown just about edged it. Absolutely neither fights are robberies, even though they can be justifies for the other guy. After all it's a subjective sport.
The two most common scores are 114-113 either way. So I don't see how two judges scoring out by the consensus in a close fight by a single ****ing round can be called a robbery.
Not sure this is as clever a point as you think it is. If people scored the other rounds for him then that's 6 a piece. Which equates to a GGG win. Besides I forget which but he definitely did pick up at least 1 round in that time frame you mentioned.
The real robbery would occur if we don’t get a rematch, which unfortunately won’t happen. I had Drevy winning by a hair, although as mentioned it’s far from a robbery. This was a good old fashioned, skilled version of a rockem n sockem match. Many props for both men.
My score was 6 rounds apiece with the KD deciding it. A very close fight and frankly if Derevyanchenko got the nod GGG couldn't complain too much about it. This was much closer than GGG/Canelo 2 where Golovkin won it 8-4.
