Just watched the fight and he did ok. Wasn't anything spectacular, he was all over the place in a lot of rounds. Wasn't really that good of a fight, he's a good average lvl fighter. Definitely nothing close to Floyd Joy Mayweather, Sinclair in terms of boxing brilliance but who is?! I'd like to see that 3rd Canelo fight.
GGG was ALWAYS an average fighter. He has NEVER used any form of defense besides getting hit and claiming he wanted to put on a show to mask his lack of defensive awareness. His greatest weapon was his strength that bailed him out in hard times and now that is going away ever fight. Ever since that Kell Brook uppercut bonanza I knew her was done. Canelo would definitely put him on a stretcher now and Golovkin wants it to happen so he can retire well and I support that. If he wants that money that bad then Canelo should pay him and put him out of his misery in front of his fans and foes. I can't wait to see GGG hit the deck and hopefully its on Cinco De Mayo 2020 so I can watch the fight from Rosarito.
He's never had that magic about him and nobody in their right minds should really have thought at ANY point in his career that he was the best fighter.
Attitude is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than what people do or say. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.
You know about as much about boxing as Pee Wee Hermann knows about Nuclear Physics LOL Mayweather was a totally manufactured fighter primed to make $$$$$$$$$ for Vegas & the NSAC. In other words their cash cow. He was not allowed to lose. Now Clenelo has assumed the mantle & getting the same "advantages" Just think a minute. In a few years time when Floyd has squandered his fortune & is penniless do you think the NSAC & Vegas boxing will care what happens to him ????
The same guys who said Canelo won the first fight (incorrectly) said he would KO GGG in the second. When that didn’t happen, they developed amnesia and doubled down on the third. Father time is catching up to GGG but I still don’t see Canelo knocking him out. If they meet again, it will probably be more like the first fight, a boxing match with Canelo coming out on top in a close decision. I’ll definitely watch the fight but it doesn’t interest me as much as other big fights like the Ruiz-AJ or Wilder-Fury rematches, or Spence-Crawford it it ever happens. Even the Canelo-Kov fight seems more interesting. Canelo isn’t losing on the scorecards any time soon and the his only threat is a fighter who can knock him out. Kov still has power, although Canelo is probably smart enough to avoid a KO and do enough to put it in the hands of the hand picked judges.
Ggg was some sort monter against bums that all of the sudden he started fighting real competition he became "shot and old " The End.
