The highlights of this just came up on my YouTube feed, so I watched it again. I was then wondering if anyone else can remember a time where a fighter looked as ridiculous as Broner did in this one? Side note: Lol @ Broner.
My grandad passed away 2 days prior to the fight, took it hard but man did I have a smile like a Cheshire Cat watching Broner get slapped silly.
Sorry to hear that dude. I’m thinking seeing Broner get his a55 handed to him was some consolation though.
It was the best fight Broner had been in since his 130 robbery against Quintero which he never improved from. They just lowered the bar for him up until Ponce De Leon exposed his defense and then lowered it again. The Maidana fight was his first real fight and he was good considering he just skipped 140 and moved up to 147. He hung in there and fought somewhat like a man until the end. Someone at Haymon's office was actually believing the hype outside of the internet. At least he didn't quit like Ortiz.
It was amazing! That fight never gets boring to watch. Nas vs Barrera is another fight were the cocky fighter got his ass beat. Although, Nas was way more likable&entertaining than Broner.
Actually I’m sure Oscar DLH had another one. Can’t remember the guys name he beat though. But I’m sure he was due a pasting if my memory serves me correct.
I can’t get his reaction to the head butt out of my head. From that point on he crumbled. Maidana had him there.
Loved maidana, so satisfying but you gotta respect broners chin. That’s one thing he has that’s world class
That was also a great fight, I was there and saw it live, it was probably the best atmosphere I been at for a boxing fight!
