Did Morrison (RIP) ever express regret that he exposed opponents to possible HIV on his deathbed?

I was wondering if as an HIV denier on the personal side, he ever turned it around and felt bad for exposing his later opponents to risk of infection. I know he was nasty enough to pretend he didnt have it in 2009.

I am unsure if this question is too much for ESB , its fine with quora so I assume its ok here.let me know if its not. I am genuinely interested in boxing ethics here.

How would they have been exposed to HIV? What were they doing in the ring?

Bleeding on each other is commonplace.

They would have to both have cuts, and blood from Morrison's cut makes its way to his opponents cut. And still this would be one of the lower risk ways of transmission.

I doubt it Morrison stabbed his gf/wife with a dirty needle down in Mexico while he knew he was HIV positive. He said "there now we both have it!". Reading his biography and watching the ESPN documentary about him, I couldn't believe that I actually was a fan of this guy. Tommy and his family and girls were basically White Trash sorry to use the term. When he was taking his meds he was fine, then he doubted that he even had the disease or that AIDS actually existed. How stupid can a man be. He made millions should be alive and happy, nowadays while HIV insn't curable, it isn't the death sentence that it was back in the 1980's. Magic Johnson has been HIV positive for years, takes his meds and follows his doctors advise and leads a happy life. So could have the much younger Morrison, if not for total ignorance and stupidity.
Al Bernstein said Tommy's logical move since he couldn't fight was to go into being a commentator. I remember watching a couple PPV cards back in the 90's and Morrison was good at it. Unfortunately at the same time Morrison was also driving drunk and getting arrested, another blown opportunity in a wasted life.

yeh sorry i meant risk of infection since luckily noone bled in those fights (unless morrison got infected earlier than recorded of course, which might mean an earlier fight is a possibility for infection).

Yes extremely hard to catch hiv, once it s in the open, by way of a cut its not long before its actually dying. And as you said, both have to be cut and then it's still hard to transmit.

I doubt it Tommy got back in the ring in late 2000's knowing he had full blown AIDS.
