Could be wrong, but sure Fitz was with Jennings for the Craig Morris fight, and he was laboured. Actually behind on the cards going into the last when he got the knock out, hence he went with his dad for the Fowler fight.

Could be wrong though, I’m from Preston and it’s just rumours.

Hope he gets the business done, Preston flying high atm, decent boxer and football team is third in the league.

Bad feeling they’ll make the Fowler rematch after this though, I’d like to see him against Garcia personally.

A few hours ago Fitz posted a pic of him and his girl with their newborn, Fitz is sporting a big shiner too. This may be a closer fight than I first thought

Good spot. He’s had it for about a week now by the looks of things, was bad at first.

Is this that much of a mismatch?

27 for Fitz 0 for Cheese???

Wow, Fitz is very inconsistent and even at his best might not be better than Cheese

The Spaniard would whoop them both at the same time,

Cheese tried his best but the Spaniard was too good, but at least Cheese never stopped coming.

Cheese has a much better gas tank IMO over Fitz. Just a matter of whether Fitz power can stop him throwing punches.

Both are as domestic level as they come though tbf, maybe the winner should fight Liam Williams LOL

I’d imagine most are thinking about the fact he drew with Conway, I watched the fight and while he tried hard, there was no plan b and I actually thought he lost.

What are about Fitzgerald vs Morris, he lost every round and then was saved by a despicable British stoppage

If Fitzgerald goes off the rails and doesn’t train properly then of course he could lose. The difference is Cheeseman trained hard and still lost. On their best days Fitzgerald is better.

I meant to Conway, though the official result was a draw.

Same. Fowler seems to believe he has the divine right to a rematch too. I think they'll make it because it's a fairly big domestic fight and will make both of them good money. On paper though, Fowler hasn't earned it.

If fitz is fit I think he beats the brakes off cheeseman. Cheeseman is a come forward plodder who’s displayed a great chin untill now but I don’t think he’ll want to give fitz to many free ones...

Garcia is World level, these blokes are domestic level.

It isn't even close tbh, he would box his ears off

If we get the Fitz that beat Fowler, Cheeseman could be in for a very painful evening. The Cheese just fights far too much with his face to allow someone like Fitz to just tee off on him. I see a corner or ref stoppage with The Cheese having taken too much facial damage to safely continue.

Actually see Cheeseman as a British/ Euro level gate keeper from this point on. Just doesn't seem to have anything exceptional in his game to take him to the next level. Fits has potential to push on to fringe world level IF he stays consistent and dedicated from here on in. Having a new mouth to feed may just be the insentive he needs to get his **** together.

Fitz by stoppage between 9 and 12
