I hope Canelo/GGG 3 happens SOON. The Father Time clock is ticking. The longer it takes for this fight to happen the more it benefits Canelo

TBH I think the passion for this 3rd fight has passed....All the ducking, scheming & general lies from GBP dulls it imo. GGG was setup, move on head held high let Oscar & drug boy have their Faux status... Hollow as it is

If you down that school of thought Canelo has unfinished business with Trout, Lara, Jacobs and GGG.

I don’t know about this. At this stage of his career, I’d take Smith over any MW moving up including Canelo. It’s no coincidence Canelo chose a faded, Kov over a guy like Smith even though Kov is a bigger man. He was happy to fight his smaller Smith brother (joke of a fight) and the bum Fielding but the bigger Smith would give him a beating. GGG should avoid Smith as well if he plans to retire with all of his faculties. Too big and prime for a 38 year old guy to fight. The young ginger should avoid him as well and I believe he will.

It maybe true that Smith is a very dangerous fight, but isn't this what the sport is about?

From pure business standpoint sure Golovkin can keep fighting no names like Rolls and finish his career. As a boxing champ though, somebody who wants to cement his legacy he should take on a bigger challenge.

Nope, Canelo beat all of those, ggg was outworked, hurt and backed up , Canelo was neither of that in the fights you mentioned.

A lot of people had Canelo losing all 4 fights, I personally had Canelo beating both Trout and Lara but he lost both fights to GGG.

However if you believe Derevyanchenko warrants a rematch due to it being a close fight, then all the fighters I mentioned should be worth a Canelo rematch.

You do know that you don’t have to jump in to defend your fellow Canelo lovers don’t you?

You are around all Canelo posts/threads like flies around ****.

His legacy at 160 is already cemented.

Let us all know who Smith has been fighting recently?

Canelo fans really shouldn't be pulling this card.

Szeremeta is easily top 10, totally underrated. Not a bad fight but it's just not groundbreaking.

GGG will take a terrible beating from Canelo now. He can’t knock out or even put down Alvarez - he’s had 2 goes at it and his power is on the wane anyway. He also wont be aloud to win on points.

I do wish boxers who are taking beatings retire for their health but I also understand if they want to fight , it’s their right. So long as they are cleared medically. GGG is on the decline but he is still a very sound boxer. He still has a lot in his tank unless he gets brutalize in his next matches.

    True...but what other (credible)defense do they have...Why doesn't canelo fight #Chenko ?
