I didnt say it proves it, but mostly everything else they do certainly does. But you keep defending them buddy!
No beer, no pork hotdogs, no tarty women in skimpy clothing pretending they know about boxing... I’ll give it a miss, thanks.
I don't want to see the bodybuilder Joshua fed to that disgusting blob in front of the Saudi royal family. That would be too cruel.
Just make sure you know everything the place before you go.Nothing to worry about so long as you know their laws.As an example if you were on codeine for pain, don’t think about taking em.So many folk do stupid things over there like tweeting stuff about religion or homosexuality, not like they didn’t know in the first place.
I would go but just don’t think it would be worth the enormous expense (tickets, flights, hotel). I’d never pay that much just to watch a fight that could end in seconds unless I was a millionaire. I find it bizarre though that people here are trying to say they wouldn’t go because you can’t eat pork or see many women out there. Are you boxing fans or pervert food fans? Fair enough if your reasons for not going are political but some of the reasons given here are bizarre. Any boxing fan who can afford the expense should be interested in this.
I lived in the Middle East (Oman) for 2 years and Saudi is one of the few countries I have yet to visit in the area. Cheapest flights are around £400 from London and they all include stops at Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon etc. The cheapest direct flight is £700! Luckily, the accomodation cost will be low and as a previous member mentioned earlier, its not like I need to budget for alcohol.
Unless you have a business reason or a religious one you can't go.. They are going to open up tourist visa's for some countries in the near future but as of now you won't be able to..
Yep, SA is a fascist state but those saying they wouldn't go because you can't drink alcohol ?? You really need booze to enjoy watching a HW title fight in person (and it will be a good fight however long it lasts) ?? Fair enough alcohol is a big part of western culture but it seems for some the only way they can relax and enjoy anything is if they have drink in them.
