I say he tears through the division and decisively beats all current Champs This content is protected
I say he absolutely rips apart all current champs! Lewis v AJ =Lewis KO 5 Lewis v Wilder =Lewis ko 11 Lewis v Fury =Lewis unanimous Dec Lewis v Ruiz =Lewis ko 4
He would be favourite to beat them all and be the dominant heavyweight figure but maybe someone like Dillian Whyte or Oscar Rivas would turn out to be the modern day version of McCall and Rahman for Lewis.
I tend to believe something like this... maybe Wilder goes more quickly. Lennox liked to jump on bigger, dangerous fighters rather than rely on distance. A motivated, focused Lewis is a nightmare H2H in any era.
Guess he beats them all but I don’t think as easy as some claim. Curious to see how he would handle Wilder. Some say he would rush him I think he plays it safe like fury for Ruiz and Wilder otherwise he’s going night night. Fury has the best shot IMO but I think he can’t avoid him all night and ends up getting sparked. AJ also gets sparked.
Fury might cause him problems for a few rounds but he will then knock him out.Th other three easy nights for Lennox
Re: "Lewis wilder : Whilst I completey agree that Lewis wins all these fights, the latest he knocked anyone out was Round 8. Although like others, I feel he would have tried to blitz Wilder in the first few rounds.
Lewis was a real fighter. He knew his craft. A focused Lewis beats anyone in the hwt division today. However as we saw an unfocused Lewis could get caught. A dangerous puncher like Wilder with THE punch to hurt Lewis has a live chance. However the expectation is Lewis would come to such a fight focused and in shape.
A focused Lewis beats them all .Wilder early , he would want to get him out of there , AJ? He is better in every department than Joshua imo,a mid rounds ko for Lennox. Possibly Fury gives him the most problems, but if he is in the zone he stops the Gypsy.imo Ruiz ? Lewis would be smart with this quick fisted fat boy, take no chances ,and gradually break him down.
We had a good thread on this recently: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/lennox-lewis-in-todays-heavyweight-division.622764/
Lewis would clean up, however his ego was a problem, and I think he would get upset along the way. These days the top fighters for the most part are not offering re-matches to dangerous in their prime opponents.
