Doubtful, Wilder just doesn't have the skill level . Even with Lewis prior to Steward.

Yeah he only has that right hand. Lewis is too smart for that

The way Wilder telegraph that right hand, if Lewis gets caught with it
He would deserve to get Ko'ed.

There are certainly good grounds for this assessment.

I don't know Deontay has the kind of shot to knock Lewis comatose.

Tough call, IMO. Lewis is clearly greater and I don’t see anyone of this era surpassing that....but I don’t think he has an easy time of it by any stretch.

I think he would beat Ruiz and stop him early 4-5.

AJ- I think Lewis takes a comfortable decision but not to be confused with an easy nights work either.

Wilder- I could see Lewis stopping him or taking a decision depending on how he approaches it... but I could also see Wilder stopping Lewis before Lewis avenges it in a rematch. Lewis should win but Wilder would be a live dog.

Fury- not sure really? I don’t like Fury a lot (nor do I dislike him for that matter), but I could see a decision going to either guy.

my gut feeling is he would go 3-1-1 at the top of the division, splitting with Wilder and drawing with Fury setting up a Fury-Lewis rematch showdown to determine it all.

The only way any of them have a chance if if they pull a Rahman. That is find an unfocused Lewis with a Sunday punch. They have very little chance vs Prime focused Lewis. Wilder had no defense so Lewis could conceivably end the bout early although he probably fights with caution. My suggestion however would to attack at the opening bell.

So let me get this straight.......

Lewis was stopped by ONE punch by a crack head whose claim to fame was being Tyson's Heavybag.

He went the distance with the Mohawk Eurobum.......went the distance with the One trick Pony Tua in next to Fury/WK the most boring heavyweight fight in decades.......went the distance with trailhorse Mercer.........went 24 with a shot Oldiefield in another snooze fest.........and again got ONE shotted by a genuine nobody in Rahman..............and shot to shid Ghost of Mike Tyson went rounds and rounds and rounds......

When Lewsi faced a threat he always played it safe, see above, Grant /Golata/Briggs aint no threat, period.

Lewis is the ONLY Champ in ANY weight class who was KO'ed TWICE by ONE punch.....in the history of the sport AFAIK.

But in rose colored Brit Land he is walking thru the current top crop like a knife thru butter.......

    Not happening.

He will blitz the glass chinned Bodybuilder without much fuss...

He will outpoint pillow fisted Tyson Fluffy because Gypsy fraud will go on a track meet literally throwing zero punches........a sleep fest beyond sleep fest

There is a good chance that he gets outhustled by Ruiz similar to the Mercer fight except Ruiz aint running out of gas late like Mercer did., Ruiz is far faster of foot and hand then Tua so this could be a upset in the making and Lemmie aint going out guns blasting aginst Ruiz, no way no how, he will try to win a boring fight from the outside.....50/50.

He got laid out by two average punchers with one shot, to be precise, by right hands.......Lewis will try to box long and clich up close in a ugly fight to avoid the right hand by all means necessary.........Lewis packs borderline glass and if Wilder connects its lights out.......another 50/50 fight with Wilder being a very much alive and extremely dangerous opponent............if Lewis comes out like against VK he is going to sleep, fact.

Once he goes down , he stays down, irrefutable fact.

So , he will not go undefeated thru that crop, guaranteed.

Issue is this. Both of Lewis losses occurred when he entered the ring unfocused and undertrained. In the rematches with both men he completely dominated not losing a minute of either bout.

Prime focused Lewis was a monster. He knew how to fight and was an agile fighter for such a big man. He had KO power in either fist. Hugely powerful puncher.

He had the skill to easily beat Wilder either via KO or decision. Wilders only hope is a punchers chance BUT he is fighter a devastating puncher as well.

Ruiz is an unproven entity. To say at this point he beats one of boxing’s greatest is a stretch beyond imagination. Ruiz is also a fat slop. To think he goes 12 rounds without gassing against Lewis is laughable. The man is carrying at least 60 pounds of blubber.

What's Britland and the like got to do with anything? Lewis has an enormous reputation with many Americans on this board and some have commented favorably in this thread yet you call out Brits.

I see you over General hating on everything Euro too.

I cannot see Windmill, slapping laughing boy Fury or beaten by fatoby Joshua seriously challenging Lewis, though they offer tough enough bouts.

I'm American and I'll say it again. He would KO all four if he's mentally ready to fight and Especially Wilder who is actually the least skilled of the 4.
