Very good match-up. Both can box, have power, and have lost, so they won't be protecting that damn zero. I think a motivated Briedis wins this but it will be a great fight: https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/0...icos-wbss-cruiserweight-final-on-december-14/
Apparently WBO ruled regarding the Glowacki situation. But Glowackis team have contested it causing a further delay. the fight is ready to go but they are being held up by the ruling
That sucks. Glowacki needs to angle for the rematch afterwards. He's being a bit of a dingleberry ATM.
Glowacki deserves a rematch but he should let nature takes its course, let Briedis fight Dorticos and then lobby for the winner.
Nature take its course? that fight should have been a DQ and a lengthy ban for Briedis and I’m a fan of his. What he did was disgraceful and then he was laughing about it in the interview
Good riddance, maybe now we'll get to see all these "great fighters" who languish there protecting their careers for fear of turning pro.
Another beating like that and his career's over. I don't see why he's in such a rush for it. Waiting for Briedis-Dorticos not only gives him more time to recover but it's a bigger fight if he waits.
He blatantly fouled throughout every fight, I’m not condoning it, but it happened and whilst I don’t agree with how they handled it, somefighters (Ward as an example in this case) foul blatantly.
Not at all. He took a flush elbow. I'd want an immediate rematch as well. The reffing was horrible in that fight.
