Daniel Dubois accepts challenge to fight Dave Allen in December, O2 London

Sam Sexton's achieved far more in Boxing than Dave Allen, being a former British and Commenwealth champion. This farcical matchup shouldn't even be sanctioned and you'd have to be off your head to try justifying this as a good fight.

I cant see them riaking Dubois against Bakole yet (although that would be a great fight). Warren said he was looking to either make a fight against Wallin or Martin before Allen challenged him.

This boy is going to get hurt, and tbh I don't want to see it.

 

Frank Warren is the biggest hypocrite if he puts Allen in with Dubois. Coming off a loss to price, just pulled out of a fight a month earlier due to mental health.

Allen turned up to the event saying he knew he was going to beat Price, struggled mentally etc then said I want to fight Dubois basically for a cash out payday. Where he could get seriously hurt.

Somebody needs to get hold of Allen and get him healthy mentally tell him to take some time out and if he wants to fight again, buikd properly.

Man, I really like David Allen, but I don't think he's got it at the moment to challenge these prosperous guys. He should take some lower opposition. What he needs is slower and heavier guys like Arreola, Stiverne, Molina, maybe he could even try a Christian Hammer, but not these athletic and tall guys... I like watching him in fights but I don't wanna see him getting beat up.

He even looked bad against Lucas Brown until he landed (in my opinion) a lucky punch to the liver.

 

Gosh why Allen gets such opportunities all the time...

 

He needs to take a proper beating, only that will stop the stupidity and nonsense. He needs to pack it in for his sake. I hope the kid keeps safe.

Allen v Gorman would be a better match up.

DDD is too powerful, even for a chin like Allen's and that is the problem, too good a chin but without the boxing skills to accompany it. A recipe for punishment. A weaker chin would ironically see Dave Allen a whole lot safer as his losing fights would end earlier minus the ongoing round by round punishment.

 

There's a reason it has to be in December.

This is a fight that could only be staged in panto season...
