He falls a bit short on both ends, IMO. He isn't THAT powerful, and, while I hate the guy and love any opportunity to see him do the gas station noodle-man dance, in objective fairness he isn't THAT glassy. Average chin, maybe a tad below...not actual porcelain. :nono: Just low ring IQ/easily snookered into a brawl, and his inside defense is too poor considering how average his whiskers are.

Yeah, you a right. I was also thinking about my favorite fighter Tommy Hearns, he was KTFO'ed 4 times, but he lost to legends, so it doesnt count too.

Know him personally, I do. Really sweet guy, although his personal life and mental health are in a shambles the last few years. I actually worry about him a lot.

Another examples - Derrick Jefferson and Michael Grant. Well, Grant maybe wasn't a huge puncher (the only one-punch or brutal KO I can recall from his career was a KO against ancient Botha), but his power was decent at least.

Jorge Noriega who holds a record of 31 - 21 with 28 knockout wins and 8 ko defeats, has scored a number of upsets in his career & at one point was rated in the top 5 of all sanctioning bodies.

He was as crude as they come and tiny at about 5'4 but had a great right hand which allowed him to defeat several fighters who were much more skilled than him.

Here are his savage ko win over unbeaten Diego 'Rocky' Gimenez and his ko loss to the light punching Raul Balbi: https://gifyu.com/image/k4N6 unfortunately my copy is in 240p so the quality isn't great but these fights have not been posted online so far to my knowledge.

I should also have his KO over Joel Mayo somewhere on my harddrive which still ranks as one of the most brutal KOs I have ever seen

He belongs in his own category of glass feathers that surprisingly made it as far as he did.

Btw, i see Kovalev one day joining Glass cannon army. Every time i see him getting hit, he is doing "bambi on ice" dance. Like every single clean shot. Boone and Alvarez have under 50% KO ratio and they hurt him badly.

How could you leave off to the two most glassy glass cannons of the current era?
