He ain't fighting Whyte like that. He'd be more cautious.

I wouldn't say usyk is a small cruiserweight actually just the opposite he was bigger than most of his opponents. His style is much better suited against guys who will respect his power and I think this will prove out as we see him in the ring with hungry contenders at heavyweight

    Whyte has excellent defence, EXCELLENT.

It used to be sloppy. Now it is better than 99% of heavies, period.
I dont think you notice how much punches other fighters take on the chin and in the face, Whyte blocks most. But I guess people see what they wanna see.

I am the most objective human here, he does still have sloppy footwork, he walks funny too... not sure what is up with that.

agree. Especially the way whyte fights, he is rarely banged up. Superb improvement defensively to go with his world class left hook

Sure, even if he did, he would still get hurt mate. Rivas was perfect... still got hurt bad and beat down, and that guy is bigger and tougher than Usyk.

Rivas almost had whyte out again, whyte almost ges ko'd in his last 3 fights against decent opposition and rivas although good is slow and predictable, same old move over and over. Good win for whyte his resume is one of the best around at hw. But he's vulnerable as hell, uysk doesn't show vulnerabilities like that because he knows angles Defence and Footwork.

Of course nobody doubts that he can be successful at hw. But many on here doubt that he can beat guys with the size of wilder or fury.
All the guys you were not near the height and physique of those 2 and or valuev.
Parker and whyte could easily make cw limit, their just fat.

Late in the fight he may be vulnerable, but it’s more due to tiredness due to the pace he sets. Could usyk keep up....he was down on cards and getting caught by bellew , whyte is a big step up.

    just keeping it real

Maybe Usyk should jump on the gear too and blow up in weight like PED pusher Whyte? Seeing as you hold him in such high regard.

Welll if I am asbolutely honest with myself, and If I live by the words "Lying is an offense against yourself" then I would humbly share my opinion that Whyte was not knocked down, he tripped, and was knocked of balance but was not hurt, and went on to win that round. I will happily admit moments where he has been hurt in fights such as the parker in the last round.

But Rivas is predictable, but he is fast and jumps in and out of range like no other heavyweight ive seen today. He is tough, can bang, and I would like to see Usyk take on Rivas to see more about who is tougher and who brings more to the table overall as a boxer and fighter.

Maybe Usyk should step up the gear and fight a live body next, before he realises he is too told to be messing around.

I get it... debut etc etc... but Chazz??? CHAZZ??? Seriously? OK.

Whyte is proven, been there, done that, no pedigree, no usyk skills, still fought the best, and won, even by an inch. It is not that I hold him in high regard, he is already high, in regard.

Wait, so we are just going to kindly ignore the fact that Usyk was scheduled to fight Takam on debut?
The same Takam that was beating Chisora? The same Chisora that went life and death with Whyte?

Let's not also forget that Whyte went life and death in his last fight with RIVAS!

Tell me, how many rounds do you think Usyk would lose against Rivas?

Why don't you tell me as a Kiwi native, why your countries Hero failed to beat Whyte?

You gonna do a david haye excuse about his pinky toe and say the concussion turned the tide??

Parker had 15 years more experiences. If we do a comparison of that gap in experience in any sport, or game or anything... the experienced guy should NOT BE LOSING, even if slightly disorientated.

And forget triangle theory as whyte beats parker who beat ruiz who beat AJ

Come on man, I would confidently pick Rivas over chisora and I’m not sure Parker could beat Rivas.

it’s hard to tell how many usyk would lose to Rivas, but bellew coming down from heavy took 4 rounds. Just be honest
