I think that's a bit early for conlan tbh.
I don't see anything special in him and as we speak, I have him no higher than a domestic level fighter. In fact I reckon Reece Mould who holds the English title at 126 would beat Michael conlan. And I would defiantly pick the likes of Leigh wood to turn conlan over atm
Saying all that, there's no need to rush just yet. If he's well matched for the next 2 years and then makes his assault for world honours after that I think he'd be strong enough to stand on his own by then. He sells tickets and is with a big hitting promoter , he has good support all round.

I laugh at this because I nearly put make Conlan vs Reece Mould on the undercard of Stevenson vs Warrington....

Thought i would get shouted out the gaff. Would be a brilliant fight that.

Do we have a midget size Fraudley Harrison ere or what?

Surely he should be looking for a World Title fight with Warrington by the summer of 2020 at the latest.

From Bob's interviews I get the impression he thinks he ain't that brilliant and just milking him for as long as he can.

This fight is majorly pointless in terms of his pro boxing career.

Bob knows SS is by far his better dart I think

Go back to bed mate. Hes fighting in December against Nikitin 3-0 and you reckon he gets Warrington 30-0 in the summer time ? early 2021 at the earliest. Whats the rush. Although i reckon he is good enough to box for one as it is. I dont know how people dont rate him. Hardly taken a shot his whole professional career

The final sentence sounds impressive until we remember he has been fighting stiffs.

Conlan publicly stated he is ready to fight for Warrington's title, his fans all think he is ready but the more informed amongst us know he will keep fighting stiffs because he is not very good.

Warrington walks right through Conlan's slaps and stops him.

Warrington's a class champion, beat Selby and Frampton against my expectations but I believe Micks only 4 fights maybe off that level. Could I be wrong ? of course I could I'm human but I know Mick gets better the higher the level of opposition. He needs to be calling these guys out, how do you think fights are made, are built up. Sure look at what Quigg done with Frampton, called him out for a couple of years and then never showed up the night of the fight. Different levels (Carl didnt have to get out of second gear the same night) But both made loads of money

4 more stiffs will make no difference.

Conlan is what he is and cannot see how he keeps Warrington off him.

Movement, he doesnt need to stand in the pocket or try keep Warringtton off him. I believe thats the best way to beat Warrington. Frampton wanted to box like that but hadnt the legs anymore plus Warrington jumped allover him the first two rounds

Do you think Michael is above domestic level as we speak. We are talking Leigh wood, Walsh, jazza, the mixed race lad who trains with Coldwell, his name slips my mind atm. Do you think conlans ability is better than those fighters.
Personally im not sure if i pick Michael to beat any of those lads. There's nothing I've seen yet of conlan that makes me think he's above that level.
*edit* Jordan Gill, I've just remembered his name.

I think Conlan will have a good career. World title might be just beyond him but he'll have a good run, and some great nights in Belfast.
