Chisora’s interview about Frank got me thinking. Why isn’t his son George more involved with everything? It says he’s “CEO of Queensbury promotion”, yet you hardly see or hear anything from him? if I was Frank I would have/had him with me more often and put him in the limelight as a natural replacement for him and/or to freshen things up a bit. Maybe he does a lot behind the scenes?

But at some point the gap with Matchroom will be far too big if he does'nt update things soon. You know there must be a difference in budget when Dave Allen is saying your offering horrendously low purses on top of Chisora and Price etc. If they are focusing on new blood and up and comers Frank isnt the best promoter to get people names out there and build them up.
Exactly. Just thought there’d be more of an effort to get George in the limelight, freshen things up and for him to carry it on in the future. Keep the Hearn - Warren thing going through the years, something the casual fan loves.
George is ideal. He holds a good conversation, he's confident and has a face that fits. He's everything that Francis isn't. If I was Frank is push George to the front
Maybe they don't want to be in the limelight. Hate him or love him Frank is a legend in the game. He knows what he's doing.
Frank's boys are definitely more camera shy than Eddie Hearn but yeah it would be good to see someone to match Smug Hearn on the press conference tables and interviews. Francis would be a disaster. George is relatively young isn't he? Mid 20s? Late 20s. He should try the spotlight and see if it suits him.
They’ve tried to push Francis as a potential mouthpiece “front of house” promoter but his press conference performances have been awful.
I'm sure I read somewhere that George is the man who puts all the deals together, for instance, he was the one who brokered the TV deal with BT.
Francis may be a clever lad and an integral part of the engine, but he is stop start and thinking about responses when interviewed. You can't do that. He needs his own identity, cause right now he is senior light, to a waffling extent.
Dave Allen is talking out of his arse. Outside of budgets generated by AJ PPVs and money available through DAZN for US based fights, there is no gap in budget. Haye acknowledged that Chisora was offered massive money by Warren to fight Dubois or Joyce, which was more then he’s getting for Price- as did Price but they choose to face each other which is fair enough. In terms of George, whenever I have seen him he has come across as a very impressive operator. I remember he and Frank did an interview when they were launching the PPV channel for Box Nation, and he could definitely front the company if that’s his future. As for Francis, he has very clearly improved in terms of his press conferences quite significantly from the early days when he was a disaster. He seems to also do a good job in managing fighters, as from what I cam see, they all appear to speak highly of him.
