What a fight! You could see the writing on the wall as soon as we seen how The Nail reacted to those smashing bodyshots,

In 10 tries I can see Gvozdyk beating AB maybe once if he fights the perfect fight and somehow stays away from that body attack. But Artur clearly has Gvozdyk's number. Beterbiev is a absolute beast, I don't think anyone right now can beat him at LHW unless he ages out over night.

Totally moot point now. Beterbiev caught up to him in the end. Violently.

Beterbiev is a better boxer. A fact. He was better tonight and it's a shame he wasted so many years of his professional career doing little.

Gvozdyk is not refined. He lacks power (when he's just boxing, not when he's beating down a buzzed opponent), cannot deliver his punches effectively enough--can't find the ideal distance for that. And they are not precise enough.

Gyvozdyk fooled people into thinking that he had power with his ko over Stevenson. He has decent straight line punching but his hooks and other punches in his arsenal had no power. That's why Beterbiev looked comfortable. He knew that Gyvozdyk only had a jab right hand.

will you admit you got this one wrong you were calling for an easy easy easy night for gvosdyk for years.
this was anything but easy and I think the knockout was legit.

I thought Beterbiev showed an excellent level of boxing skill and strategy tonight. Hopefully he will get the credit he deserves for it... because I don't think anybody else would've systematically broken down "a game" Gvozdyk in such a manner.

Impressed here. Wanted Gvozdyk to win, prefer his style but Beterbiev fought a good fight.

Glad I managed to catch this one. Great great great fight.

Great victory for Beterbiev. His short punches are some of the most beautiful in boxing. They travel short distances, but generate so much power.

It's too bad he's already 34 years old. Wasted a good part of his prime doing nothing. He could have accomplished so much more.

I didn't say the TKO wasn't the right call. Merely that the last two KD's weren't KD's.

Yes. I got it wrong. I vastly underestimated Beterbiev, and he deserves plaudits for breaking Gvozdyk down like that, in a back and forth game of violent chess.
