That was the Barry Michael-Lester Ellis fight. Another really good fight and more famous in Australia but Michael-Ropis was the better fight. A poor mans Thrilla in Manilla excepting that the action was just as good, even if the fighters weren't.

Cory Spinks had lost 2 in a row & a new kid Lattimore 19-1 16kos was a hot prospect. From the start it was obvious Spinks reflexes were gone, legs looked shot. Should be over quickly. But something happened around 3rd or 4th round. Spinks chose to set down on his shots and stand & trade. A dog fight began. Who knew Spinks could bang his way back in the fight and edge out a SD win. Haven't watched it in years and about to shortly. Hopefully what I'm writing is on par that it was great fight few watched. This content is protected
