A lot of talk about PEDs on this forum recently. But after hearing of the tragic death of Patrick Day this week, brings home the dangers of boxing when clean, let alone when fighting a guy with an unfair advantage. God forbid, if another bout ended with a fatality and the opponent was found to be on PEDs, wondered if he would be up for criminal charges - man slaughter or even worse?
Why is a user with a known PED user as his username bitching about PEDs PEDs are part and parcel of every professional sport on planet earth. Boxers losing their lives in the ring is part and parcel of boxing, and **** all to do with PEDs. Boxing is actually safer than Rugby union and motorsport when it comes to fatalities. It is disgusting to align boxers losing their lives in the ring to PEDs. As everyone is on PEDs all you are going to achieve is to help the liberal snowflakes get boxing banned. Like it was in socialist Sweden
So your saying an unfair advantage in boxing is ok - just turn a blind eye. Maybe forget about checking the gloves / wrapping too - in fact forget why not forget about the gloves & the ref ... & anyone who complains - There a Swedish Snowflake.
So rather than highlight the danger of boxers fighting when juiced to the gills your highlighting the dangers of being a clean athlete?
I’ll try to make myself clearer for you: If boxing is dangerous when fighting a clean athlete - it must be considerably more dangerous when fighting someone taking PEDs. If you want to argue against that statement - feel free
Don’t play a straw man on me. I am stating the facts around PEDs. You need to remove the sand from your Vag over this issue.
You talk in riddles. Not sure what you’re argument is. Fighting is dangerous enough, without the sport turning a blind eye to PEDs which you seem to be condoning. Maybe you just like to argue - but no hard feelings. Have a great day ‘Destruction’ - ‘well hard’ name by the way.
Yeah I simply couldn’t understand what angle you were coming from. So you’re against PED use? What punishment would you hand out to juiced fighters jeopardising the lives of clean athletes?
Boxing littered with lenient punishments for boxers who cheat. Miller 6 months for missing three drug tests. Povetkin - two failed tests & still fighting. Margarito got just a year ban for loaded gloves vs Cotto. 3 years for taking PEDs seems about right - perhaps a life ban for further violations. But with so much money involved - never likely to happen.
