Alan Minter v Sumbu Kalambay

Kalambay is clearly the better boxer. Does Minter have any chance of pulling off the upset.

 

Kalambay beat McCallum in there first fight and Minter wouldn`t stand a chance v McCallum, I don`t even know if he could have beat Watson who was completely outclassed by McCallum, Minter sparred with a young Herol Graham and Herol tied his hands behind his back and Minter couldn`t land a punch on him, yet Kalambay outboxed Herol twice.

 

Kalambay might've won every round and cut him

 

Kalamby wins, probably by wide decision. There would be sharp work from both men, though.

 

I think this is tighter. Minter had skills. That being said I'll still take Kalambay by UD

 

Sumbu is the better fi9ghter

 

Minter would get embarrassed. Too slow, too stiff, and too little head movement for Kalambay at his best. I’d expect Sumbu to move around and hit him with pot shots and ambush attacks all night.

 

Kalambay was a level above Minter.

 

Quite possibly a few

 

Good matchup. If Minter boxes smartly he runs the bout close and loses by a close decision. A reckless Minter gets cut up and gets stopped in consequence by halfway mark.

Sumbu better boxer overall than Alan.

 

Both good fighters but Kalambay is a better late stoppage to sumbu .Good fight
