i will wait to see how his power stacks up at 175. i have no doubt canelo would land his shots, but if they arent respected, hes getting bludgeoned. his accuracy will go a little ways into forcing beterbieve out of his comfort zone, but he needs the power to make it pay off at the end.

 

Well, Beterbiev brings a completely different challenge. He fights nothing like Golovkin.
Stylistically speaking, Beterbiev is easier for Canelo than Kovalev or Golovkin(not saying that Beterbiev would be easy at all. Just that styles do make fights).

 

Have you spoken to Canelo about this?he may not share your enthusiasm.
I take it you think Jacob's and Golovkin are better than Beterbiev as Canelo couldn't beat those no problem.

Berterbiev isn't a come forward guy though.Did you not see the fight on Friday?Gvodzyk might of been better off countering instead of initiating everything.

Yes, Canelo has fought a murderers row of come forward fighters in Kirkland, Angulo, Smith and Chavez jr. In reality Canelo has only fought one good come forward fighter and he gave Canelo just as much trouble as any back foot fighter has given him.
