Because he hasn’t got the same money available for a legal team as the bigger names. Suprised it took 16 months.

The no name foreigner gets 4 years, while big name Brits are allowed to fight in big fights after getting busted.
Also, why did it take 16 frickin' months?!

The 16 months thing is a disgrace. Imagine it came back he was innocent! He’s had a 16 month lay off with loss of earnings etc. They really are amateur.

I wish there was clarity one way or another.

I think Benson has possibly included that last sentence as a veiled reference to the Whyte case, but it's impossible to know for sure. The fact that we both saw that in it though shows that its the elephant in the room of british HW boxing.

My guess would be it took 16 months because he challenged the findings. If he'd simply agreed to it there wouldn't be need for retests, lawyers letters etc.

There is clarity on the following:

    1. He is a pudding.
    2. He is a serial PED user.

    Hope that helps

Call me Mr Obvious but this whole situation has been an absolute farce. It disgusts me that people are dying in a sport which continues to show utter ambivalence towards drug taking. This situation has been going on for months and it is still clear as mud. UKAD have shown themselves time and time again to be inept and the BBBoC should consider their relationship with them.

Anyone still thinking Fury’s two year absence weren’t enforced is an idiot.

I truly want him banned for life. Make no earnings for his family forever more. Whytes a scumbag , this is the second time hes been caught (multiple more times he wasn't caught also). He never learnt from the first offence, he doesn't care and Eddie with his crocodile tears for Patrick Day, Eddies another scumbag. Great promoter but the man has no real character about him. Boxers are dying in the ring far too often

I like Adam Booth’s idea that if you fail a test, not only are you required to pay back your purse but that the result is changed to a technical decision victory to the losing opponent. Then you can look at suspensions etc

Seems logical. Does that imply David Haye didn’t take PEDs?

There have been a lot of issues getting prize money back from cheats in athletics. It’s an issue I hadn’t thought about in that setting. Not only have people been robbed of medals by cheats but also lost out massively financially.

I’m not a Whyte fan nor have I kept up on the whole failed test drama.

With him not fighting lately, I take it he’s got a ban and it’s all been hushed hushed?
