    AGAINST THE TYSON OF THE MCBRIDE FIGHT.
    Would he win? Stop him earlier? Please discuss with bitterness and expletives.

    The ****s a prime Gerry Cooney? All he did was beat up pensioners and get levered by Larry Holmes.

    He'd beat an ancient Tyson, as in last fight Tyson but any Tyson before Lewis would beat him

    Um...Tyson quit against Kevin McBride (yes Kevin McBride) in his last fight and was getting beaten pretty handily and looked like trash before gassing mid fight. And he was fighting Kevin McBride I must reemphasize.

    Cooney would blast that sad, fat heartless version of Tyson out of their quick smart whether legitimately or Tyson just turning it up. Tyson simply didn't want to fight anymore at that point of his career.

    Prime Tyson takes out prime Cooney in a round or two.

    In all honesty, I can see Cooney winning this. All a fighter had to do against Tyson at the time, was take a few shots then hit back!
    Now Cooney may not be highly regarded but im sure he clings on early action, hits Tyson back and before the 5 th he's either kod or stops in his corner. THIS is not the real Mike Tyson..

    YEAH. BUT HE STILL HAS TO TAKE A FEW SHOTS IN THE BEGINNING. I SAY HIS HIGHLY PORCELAINATED CHIN COLLAPSES. TYSON WOULD EASILY INTIMIDATE COONEY AT THE WEIGHIN BY TALKING ABOUT MAKING HIM HIS

    I am a big Tyson fan. But, the listless, disinterested, out of shape version of Tyson who lost to McBride would get annihilated by prime Cooney. It was painful to witness just how far Tyson had fallen at that point. Worse than Leonard getting stopped by Camacho. The only other time I saw such a sad display was when the corpse of JCC Senior lost to Grover Wiley.

    lol are you trying to drive Ant and Lamotta out of business...well you got my vote!

    personally I think an Azumah Nelson vs Jeff French 4 fight taking place tomorrow to settle the score once and for all would make a high quality thread.!

    It's weird writing this, but Cooney by first round ko.

    Cooney would have been really wiped out by Mike 1986-1997 though imo.

    Only if Jeff Chandler and Lupe Pintor's granddaughter s fight on the undercard to the death to settle the PINTOR-chandler question.

    Tyson in Tyson's last fight really sucked. I think any decent, in shape and motivated HW would have beaten him. I think Mike's heart just wasn't in it anymore.
