Laurence Okolie's opponent

Perhaps, like Liam Williams and Willy Hutchinson, he wants to be a world champion.

 

He's been training with Ingle for a year apparently, and when he moved over here he did it with the intention of fighting Okolie. So he should have a game plan.

Im pumped for this fight now.

 

Cut out the middleman and get straight to the source, less chance of contaminated peds then.

 

Or like Saunders and Brook, he wants d!ck and drugs.

 

Placed all on ngabu. Dont see him losing since its not a hugging competition.
There is something ingle see that the rest of us don't and that is okolie is not as good as they put him to be.

 

No one has said that Okolie is particularly good or even powerful. But he’s awkward as hell and stifles you in the ring. To use footballing analogy he’s like a boring defensive team that’s hard to break down and somehow scrapes enough shots on goal to sneak a win.

Intelligent observers here have tipped Chamberlain and Askin to knock out Okolie and it hasn’t happened.

Since linking up with Shane, both of them have said that they will be making Okolie’s style more attractive in the ring.

I’m looking forward to the fight and not really sure what to expect as I haven’t seen much of Ngabu. If, however, he really is 5’11” I’m inclined to predict Okolie wins comfortably. Chamberlain was taller and he was completely dwarfed by Okolie who comes in huge on fight night. I’ve seen Okolie a few times in person and he is a massive Cruiserweight.

 

Yeah i saw Okolie in London a while ago and he was pretty much the same size as i remember Dubois when i met him. He could easily beef up to heavy but then his grappling tactics wouldn't be as effective.

Okolie hasn't gotten a tough fight yet. His fight with ngabu should be the first, but bookie made ngabu a massive under dog (not considering he is an European champion), same mistake they did for Ruiz in the AJ v Ruiz fight

 

Bookies only reflect what the market thinks and my guess is not many have even heard of Ngabu. Okolie on the other hand has been hyped for some time now.

Must say am almost looking forward to seeing this now, not something I thought I'd say about an Okolie fight.

 

Okolie is huge, he’s awkward and he’s got power. He’s technically poor but he can grind out results and he can knock people out.

We don’t know much about Ngabu and just had a look at his opponents and there’s nothing impressive there whatsoever plus his opponents combined record is barely a winning one.

 

I’d imagine another Okolie ugly win

 

Ngabu is definitely worth a £5-£10 punt, I wouldn't be putting my life savings on him like.
