    I was going to say his size. Up until about Welterweight, he just seem taller and bigger than anyone he fought.

    Mindset, willingness to face the best, size (particularly at Lightweight), great left jab/brutal left hook (he's a converted southpaw from memory) good overall skills.

    He was a force for a good portion of his career.

    His jab.

    A very educated left hand, be it the jab, hooks, or uppercuts. Height and reach advantage in most/all of his fights. Great speed in his prime. A willingness to fight the best available win , lose, or draw. ( Very little if any "Creative "match making like Mayweather Jr) .

    Nah man, that's Nelo's biggest strength. That and his bicycle.

    Del a Hoya's greatest strength imo is his fishnets. Truly terrifying.

    His left hand in general, both the jab and the hook.

    He badly injured his hand in his early win over Troy Dorsey, and it never fully recovered, per Oscar himself. I can only imagine how potent his arsenal would have been without that injury.
