    GGG was more powerful than Toney, James threw some good shots but on average GGG`s punches are much harder.

    This distortion that you speak of when it comes to Jones is borderline disgusting. Some of you guys remember Jones Jr in his prime but choose the most terrible version of Jones to do head to head matchups. Sad. But it’ll happen to the fighter that you like. That’s what forum posters do.

    Not sure what your point is here?Canelo lost the first fight by a big margin and eked out a points win in the second.
    Roy Jones would do what Mayweather did in his pomp and not lose a round imo.

    Canelo isnt even close to being in Jones league.
    Prime Jones has his way with Canelo and stops him
    Only time Canelo stepped in with a boxer who had HOF pedigree he got SPANKED for 12 rounds.

    So what? I think you're smarter than that. Toney still had very good power. Was way faster. Smart counterpuncher. A rock hard chin and he was meaner in the ring. He would've beaten up Canelo and KO'd Jacobs.

    Roy Jones made James Toney look foolish.
    He was near enough untouched in his prime at MW. He was so quick, hit very hard, almost no timable rhythm and some of the greatest feints of all time.

    Him vs Canelo? He shuts him out.
