Savagely stopped??? When Taylor Knocked Ohara David's nose off, I have not seen the pin point accuracy in many fighters. Literally Taylor ripped a man's nose off rarely ever see that. I know Davies is no where near Prograis but still. I think Taylor will show bad intentions. I'm rooting for Prograis to bring home the W I just have a hard time seeing it. I really dislike Taylor after the corny headlock video but still man. The guy is accurate as it comes
Baranchyk was putting them hands on Josh Taylor. Prograis is not just a come forward fighter, he can show a lot of different looks. Josh Taylor is going to be in trouble come the 2nd half the fight.
O'Hara Davies is an awful fighter. Josh has a chance in this one, but make no mistake, Prograis is not O'Hara Davies.
I thought you would have watched him plenty, but just in case you're not at the wind up. Flanaga/Relikh fights are on youtube. Both similar performance and style. And the one before that, 8 round win vs Velasco is on Dailymotion. Prograis walks him down, different performance. Try watch one of each style. I think his boxing, counter style is undervalued & although he has inside skills, I think his come forward style is nowhere near as impressive.
Ohara Davies started boxing late and only had 18 amateur fights before quickly turning pro at 22 years old. Josh Taylor, on the other hand started kick boxing as a little kid and turned to boxing at 14 years old and had 300 to 400 hundred amateur bouts, represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games 3 times. Taylor turned pro at 24 years and 6 months old. He had by far the more experience and anyone who knows boxing knew that Ohara Davies stood zero chance. Regis Prograis had a relatively short amateur career too, 87-7. The only thing of note he achieved was winning the regional Golden Gloves, which would have been quite easy as there is not much talent in that part of the USA. In conclusion, I think Taylor wins mostly due to experience. When you add in his boxing attributes, speed, power, tank, skills, I think he is the only winner in this fight.
No wind up honest.Calling me a casual is not an insult but I do try and learn more on here.I know enough about Taylor as I’m from the U.K. but Prograis I’m guessing would not be well known by the majority of British fight fans? I’ll go see those fights you mentioned.Pity both haven’t fought Postal to compare.
Have a look and pop you're feedback in here please, interesting to see what you think. Postal fight was on as well but he pulled out injured, I think he would have gave Regis problems but we'll probably never know now.
