Marquez lost 2 fights out of 3. I do not consider him a winner versus Pacquiao. My opinion is Tito would not do better. I think Mayorga is the style you need to win versus Pacquiao. That guy Jeff Horn has applied pressure and won. Mayorga was a beast I think he wins too.

Both were blessed with beaut left hooks, maybe the best contest off the top of my head for quality of them

Personally I think you're insane but it's your opinion bro I think myorga would have been sparked in the first round vs pack not able to make the adjustments

No I think Mayorga had the chin, the pressure and the volume of punch needed to send Pacquiao in hell.

I know. What a fight it was. Definitely not the kind of fight Pacquiao would be comfortable in. Tito on the other hand might give a little too much room to the smaller man. I prefer Mayorga still.

Would be as competitive in Pacquiao’s favor as he wanted it to be which pains me to say, because Tito is one of my all-time favorites.

Manny would have a wide advantage in quickness, consistently beat Trinidad to the outside, tag him with the left, force him to reset, make him chase, but...Trinidad would do just that. He was pretty damn indefatigable and persistent at 147. He would be on him for 12 rounds and never let up. And just as key: he was fast enough a foot and quick enough with his great straight right that he would’ve found a home for it eventually. And against a naturally smaller man, a southpaw, that would be the difference maker.

Like I implied at the top I think Pacquiao would be gifted enough to punch and run to a win but alas, he’s too much of a warrior to do that (not cynical enough. Not enough Mayweather in him).

Trinidad would win the latter rounds, hurting Manny and either winning via close decision or a stoppage (buried that lead, lol)

Did you really mean to imply that Pac's power was somewhat comparable to Tito's?

Indeed. DLH had smoother movement, was the more fluid athlete, but Tito had better straight line speed. Hands wise: DLH had the quicker left hook, especially in combination. Trinidad the quicker right hand. Different types of speed. DLH had speed effect effective for being elusive and countering. Trinidad has predatory speed for hunting guys down. Apples and oranges, really.

Nah, Mayorga was way too open to beat Manny. The only thing being a smaller and much cruder version of Margarito is a formula for against Pacquiao, is a formula for a concussion, brain bleed, detached retina and/or worse.

We can disagree. One thing is factual, Mayorga wanted Pacquiao, fight never happened.
