DelaHoya edges it, in my opinion. Prime DLH had just enough lateral footspeed to put himself in range to double and triple the left hook, which I think would be key in putting Pacquiao in range for the straight right. Similar to the Tito matchup, this fight would see Manny wining the first half of the fight and the bigger guy imposing his potent combination punching late.

I hate Oscar and his bull**** politics destroying the sport don't get me wrong, but I'm also honest. The Oscar from the Trinidad fight would pulverized the best version of Manny with that left hook. I really can't see how any seasoned fan of boxing who doesn't have a burning hate for GBP or glowing love for Manny pick Manny against a prime Oscar.

    Oscar by TKO round 9

"He can't handle your speed, son!"

Freddie Roach said that during the fight. Not power. Not angles. Speed. And it remains true — Pac's speed would still create an insane amount of problems for a prime Oscar. Same fight, but Oscar might see the final bell.

Not enough people see things this way. Oscar was a big boy and at his best how many dudes who were at their best somewhere between 130-140 really stand a chance against him? Seems a bit like asking prime for prime who wins between Toney and Holyfield.

Oscar. He was a complete shell of himself against Pac.

Prime Hoya would be too big and too powerful.

A prime Hoya would also beat everyone Pac fought in the versions he fought them, imo.

Pacs an ATG but hes not a real welterweight and would lose to primed top tier welterweights, imo.

    Seriously!!!

De la hoya is an ATG!!!

No wat a prime Pacquiao at any weight competes against that jab of Oscar!!! ESPECIALLY NOT AT 147!!! The Oscar that fought quartey; Tito Trinidad easily beats pac. You forget Oscar had a crazy fast jab

Man a lot of people don’t know diddly dog **** about the history and sport of boxing. Prime, p4p number 1 Oscar was seen as a true ATG who was lethal with both hands and a complete boxer.

The Oscar who fought Manny was a drained mummy, a literal shell of his former self. If you base that fight on how PAC would defeat a PRIME DLH then log off.

Oscar absolutely destroys Pacquiao in a prime fantasy match up.

    Pac turds stay delusional.

Oscar wins. Too much size, power and yes, even speed.

Stay living off the money grab losers. Cocaine Oscar was finished by then.

ODLH does not get stopped. If he could land that left hook, this fight could be over. Probably a close competitive fight, much closer than when Golden Girl fought after his prime. Remember Oscar was bigger, that's a factor.
