I'd like to see a rematch, but that was a fair decision. Prograis let himself get outworked in too many rounds.
Taylor might train doon there but you are being a bit far fetched to claim he is based there. Just incase you dont know.... That was the first fight Josh had doon there and being a scotsman is hardly home turf. His home turf is edinburgh.
I meant fair in that Taylor was the winner. I'm a Prograis fan, and I thought the best he could get was a draw. The guy let himself get outworked, then couldn't end it with one shot. Hopefully he will learn from this loss, and improve.
He lives there permanently with his partner in their own home in London. His training base with McGuigan is also in London, about 2 minutes from his house. Therefore, Josh Taylor is based in London. What don't you understand about that? Regardless, like I said, Taylor still won tonight so nothing to cry about mate.
Good fight but taylor looked a bit too big and strong for him. He outworked prograis in the end. Prograis never really got to taylor with the power either. Cant really see how prograis could have done any better. Taylor will always outwork him imo. Prograis will take some good scalps cause hes class but dont think taylors styles a good one for him. Fight would end the same way. Was a clear taylor win for me. Competetive fight...but taylor wkn it with a bit to spare.
Whit ye talkin aboot ya bam. Aye he bought a pad doon there for when he's trainin but still lives up here. Once he made a few bob and could afford it he just bought a place near the gym but outside of trainin he's up in Edinburgh. And aye...yer right eh did win so we agree on that
Definitely worth of a rematch, but not immediately as it would be likely to go the same way. Taylor / Ramirez needs to happen in early 2020. Maybe a rematch a year or two down the line, when both fighters have progressed further, perhaps at 147 to put a different spin on it.
It was a 50/50 fight and so one was always gonna go home the loser(can’t imagine them giving draws in a final). Not seen it yet but it sounded like a good competitive fight. The majority of the scores on the RBR sounded fine as they gave Prograis rounds early on with Taylor picking it up as the fight went on which is how Taylor fights imo. Didn’t Prograis say the better man won on the night?
