Not just KO 8, Ward got the first fight too. I always thought it was close and could go either way, but that's Kovalev's fault. He had Ward badly hurt early on and did nothing to finish him off.

He’s still bitter over the Ward loss.

The first fight was close. It seemed that Kov was a step ahead of Ward, but I want to tell you something about judges. If they are turned off by your style, they won’t give you rounds.

Kov kept putting Ward in a head lock and gave the impression to the judges that he didn’t want anything to do with fighting Ward on the inside. That alone turns judges off. And it also hurts boxing at times. But that’s why we have rematches.

Agree with Kovalev, Canelo represents a tougher challenge in terms of his skillset over Ward.

Ward had an early christmas taking Kovas nuts and roasting them over an open fire, Canelo's about to have a rib dinner once he's done basting Krusher with extra picante body shots.

Kov is a bit of a puss. He knew Ward fought dirty, elbows and low blows. Not sure why he didn’t give Ward a bit of his own medicine, maybe headbutt him or a shot or two behind the head as a thank you for Wards dirty tactics.

I hate dirty fighting but guys who fight intentionally dirty like Ward deserve like treatment in return. Kov fought both fights clean and has two underserved L’s for his troubles. .

If Kov had reciprocated Weekes would have DQ'd him in a heart beat. that was obvious. I was so mad watching that if I'd have heen Kov I'd have blasted Ward in the testes & said to Weekes " Was that low Tony " ?

Boxing is a lot about body language. And when you got a guy in there fighting more intelligently than his opponent, and getting in more quality shots, judges reward that.

This comment made by Kovalev is definitely going to fire up the North American boxing establishment's
key mafia figures. The fact that it is 100% the truth matters not, because as we all know facts don't
    matter to the left.

Ummm, OK. I guess we could further pass blame to John David Jackson who failed to properly prepare Kovalev
in the gym to train for a low blow inside game.
Seriously folks, you cannot make this stuff up. Only on boxingforum24.com (WOW!)

In a perfect world Weeks would’ve stepped up and disqualified Ward for repeated low blows, but that just isn’t reality, so it was up to Kovalev to return the favor. Also, Kovalev refused to follow Jackson’s instructions while preparing for the rematch, so I don’t see how Jackson can be blamed for Kovalev quitting.
