Speaking for myself, I think it would make sense for him to acclimatise to HW by fighting guys like Chisora. But if he thinks he can step right up to the elite, who am I to bash him? And I'm kinda happy he's doing it. That means that we won't be treated to another two years of "Usyk is ducking th top fighters" and "Usyk is gonna lose when he finally scrapes the courage to face Wilder" and etc etc etc. I think its freaking great that a much-hyped fighter isn't scared to charge right into the mix and see what he's got. Fantastic. And if Usyk turns out to be the real deal, I for one want to see more fights vs the AJ's than the Chisoras and Takams.
everybody wants to face the champs.Usyk does not even deserve a title shot.He needs to get a legit win at heavy first. Usyk has 1 fight in the last 13 months against a nobody. Now he be sitting around for months before he can face a champion. That is really great for boxing
He needs to get in line like the rest of them You don't barge your way through the crowd to face a king, without earning the right to do so.
I feel sorry for you !!! I would hate to be as anal about everything like u !!! Even misspelling names I see you turning into a snowflake —- instead of being an anal snowflake answer the question on the thread mr English teacher !
Usyk is undoubtedly a king. I would not disagree, but when another king is tied up with other pressing business, it is highly rude and disrespectful to insist that you are the priority. Once Fury and Joshua are dealt with and wiped from away from the HW division. Then Usyk's time will have come.
Usyk is widely considered as one of the best boxers on the planet, but you want him to "get in line". But **** it, some just don’t want to see the best fighting the best. And where is the line? Whyte has been mandatory for a while now and the WBC came up with this gem:
Wilder protection service hard at work. I bet if Usyk was called Malik Scott or Whyte was 200 years old like Ortiz, they'd be ordering them as mandatories
You have the audacity to bring up that steroid addicted junkie Dillian Whyte who never once was mandatory. He had numerous opportunities before getting found out for drug abuse, to become mandatory and each time he scoffed his nose at the opportunities. So please don't ever bring up that out of control steroid lover in this discussion. As for Usyk , he as super champion was initially mandated to fight for the WBO, so I don't know what has happened with that and all of a sudden this talk of him fighting Wilder, when he's not even ready for that fight yet.
Wilder mentioned Usyk, Usyk fired back, now people are talking about them. And nothing has happened with the WBO mandate. Usyk is waiting on the Ruiz-Joshua rematch.
