Kovalev wants to fight Beterbiev

    "Fight with Beterbiev - the main motivation for the victory over “Canelo” "I don’t think that Canelo can beat me, because I do my job to defeat him.
    I am really very motivated. Last Friday, I watched Beterbiev vs. Gvozdik fight. The fight with Beterbiev is a huge motivation for me. I never fought with him in the pros, but really want this. Now this is my main motivation for the victory over the “Canelo” November 2"

    If i am not mistaken Kov ist the first LHW who directly said that he is ready for Beterbiev. Shot or not, motivattion is still there. War Kovalev!

    I think you are a bit too early with that statement, its not like Kov is coming from a big loss.

    Nah, Beterbiev gonna be a big favorite. Kovalev is not durable even against mediocre punchers, one semi clean punch from BTR can end this fight. Also if i am not mistaken AB beat Kovalev twice in amateurs.

    He lost 2x to Ward (one really), got his clock cleaned by moderate hitting Alveraz, and almost got KTFO by the glorified amateur Yarde.

    Yes, I say that ship has sailed. No way he stands up to Beterbievs pressure at this point in his career.

    Beterbiev in recent interview said that he isnt interested in Gvozdyk rematch, he wants Kovalev.

    3 years ago, I believe he would've beaten Beterbiev and I'm on this site saying as much. Today? He'll get run over.

    In case of Beterbiev i agree, but do you think he is so washed up that he cant beat Canelo?

    I think he gets robbed, plain and simple. Be it by the judges or a DQ. He'd have to score a clean KO to win.

    But i really want Beterbiev to obliterate Canelo and wish that fight happens in 2019.....
