Davis—Loma is ripe right now and needs to happen in the next year.

What I expect to happen, because of Bob Arum’s involvement, is that Loma will fight Commey. Assuming he wins, he will fight Teo who will be exposed as a hypejob. Loma will follow that up that up by fighting guys that nobody is interested in, probably a UK flavor of the day like Selby.

If Haney can keep making 135, he’ll either force Arum’s hand in a passing of the torch fight, and he will be able to beat him in two years, or scare Loma down to 130.

I see Davis being ducked, but I hope not. If Haney goes to 140, I think Davis would have a better chance at getting the Loma fight.

Tank is incredibly fast hard hitting fighter I think we have only seen a fraction of his potential .

It’s hard to tell how good Tank is when he only fights bums. Hopefully he will grow the balls to fight a real opponent at 135. I suspect he will fight two or three more bums, smaller guys moving up and guys coming off a loss next. He will talk a big game and fight no names and older guys. Guys like you will make a big deal out of fights put together to make him look good.
I don’t get it. We know Tank can beat bums, he’s proven it over and over. Why are they afraid to put him in against a real opponent?

Tank and Shakur are going to take all of the heads at the midget weights but Spence whooping Crawford would be a better win the all the midget wins combined.

Haney is a scrub compared to Tank
Haney got torn to pieces by Shakur

Tank would beat them both at the same time and still!!!!!!

Spence has proven that he can dominate world level guys inside and outside... fighting backwards. All we’ve really seen from Davis is him being a downhill fighter, bull in a china shop. I cant put him on Errol’s level until he faces someone who he just can’t bully. Someone who forces him outside of his comfort zone.

He was scheduled to fight Mares this year but Mares pulled out. Walsh, Pedraza, and Gamboa are not bums, but he should fight better guys from Gamboa on.

    He doesn't.

Tank is a physical specimen, fleet flooted, quick handed and an abundance of power. Errol is heavy handed, steady etc. Errol can fall back on his skillset when the power fails him. I don't feel like Tank has that skillset. Also, Tank is small of stature, he's thick around the torso but he's a little guy. 130 is his proper weight, honestly 135 is pushing it and 140 is out of the question. Errol, it's fairly clear that even though he's a WW, he's built for JMW, and is large enough, strong enough, and a decent enough hitter that 160 is eventually conceivable. Finally, I believe the best guys at 130 and 135 all beat Tank. I think Spence is hell for anyone at 147 and 154. I think given time to adjust to the weight (not just bouncing up and taking a fight), he's a potential handful at MW.

Errol's ceiling is far higher than Tank's.

the same Mares coming up from a lower weight and coming off a loss? Is that really the kind of opponent you want to see a prime, up and coming fighter face? The whole time there I never heard him try to make a fight with a top 3, 130 pounder. Berchelt was there the whole time and Davis was busy making twitter wars with Ryan Garcia and Farmer. Mares is a small guy who is not even tops at 126. Gary Russell even called out Tank and he wanted no part of him. Gamboa was sliding when Crawford beat him a long time ago. I have never seen boxers get better with age. He’s the perfect fake opponent for Tank and has zero chance of winning. You will see, his next opponent will be no better, probably worse. Need to see which older 130 pounder is looking to move up. Someone who can’t move or punch. That will be tanks next opponent.

People claim Marquez got better with age ad naseum on here because Floyd washed him.

Farmer didn't want to fight Davis and it's totally obvious that Davis would ruin him at this point. I'd like to see Russel and Berchelt fight him; I'm not sure of the story with that.

Davis is in his prime now at 24 and looks much better than 2-3 years ago. He should step up his oppositon from now on. Canelo, De La Hoya, Mosley and others had similar slow starts hut stepped it up.

Yep, they all stepped up and he should have already done it. Gamboa is stepping back or sideways but not up. It’s a joke but what I expect from Tank. Calling out a guy like Taylor on Twitter is as close as he will get to him. Tank wants no part of a tough fighter in the ring unless the other guy is past prime.
