Stopping a dude on a week's notice doesn't alter my opinion. He's still defensively very suspect and thought he throws plenty of different shots he is very open when doing so. It's hard to read into if he has decent power or not at this stage. I'd go for the English title before the British personally but would be happy to see him try for either and finally step up

Benn is coming along well, you can see the improvements he's making whether you want to admit it or not. People can say what they want about him, but he's a young lad learning on the job and he is fun to watch.

He’s in with lads who are proper non punchers...so he can spend that extra second or two in the pocket, carrying out all the practice he’s put into the pads, admiring his own work without worrying about getting clipped. He should be looking quality at this level.

Facts are, these opponents are landing on him way too often. He doesn’t respect their power but that won’t matter, Tony Sims will not step him up until he starts doing so because we saw with the first Peynaud fight, he can be made to look very stupid with that mindset.

I really like Connor Benn, I am officially a fan now. He is exciting to watch, and I really like his grounded attitude. Perfect mix of grit inside the ring, and smiley/chilled out outside the ring.

His style is fun to watch, good luck kid.

Well here's to hoping he makes it past british and into the world class... to follow in the footsteps of the enigmatic Dillian Whyte.

If Dillz can do it... Connor Benn can do it.

I think you're spot on there. I watched him the other night and he was shrugging off his opponent's punches, but he didn't adjust, kept on getting clipped.

He is going to end up badly hurt - simply not in the same league as his father and never will be.

Average. Simply riding off the Benn name, beating cans. As soon as he steps up he gets Knocked out and Eddie cashes out. I wouldn't be surprised if he fights for some version of a world title. Although I think Josh Kelly is a bit hyped he would absolutely wipe the floor with Benn.

There's a lot to like about Conor and the opponent was a decent one but let's not forget his opponent is a 140er.
Paul ready has dragged jamoye up,to give Benn the size advantage.
Benn can only fight what's in front of him and he did a good job on the night but clever matchmaking goes a long way.
Benn won't make 140 imo. As was first thought.
