Context matters. If Joshua suffered another brutal loss to Ruiz and Price still had a good streak going it wouldn't be a bad fight on PAPER. Obviously in all likelihood Price would get flattened.
Even with a proper camp he’d only do one more round imo.someone on here said in the gym he looks fine and suggested him gassing was more mental?I can believe that actually.
Ah ok I’m with you.Yeah for sure context is everything. No point in chasing a big fight if he lost to Ruiz again.Hed have to do what Whyte did who imo got his rebuilding thing just right as it took four fights before he could throw that big left. I’m no longer a Joshua fanboy but I don’t even like to think of what happens if he gets beat again lol. That said I’m not one of those who takes pleasure in that type of thing with anyone really. Even Canelo lol I’ve only ever wanted him to end up with how things really went down in the ring.A loss to Floyd and Golovkin wouldn’t make him rubbish would it?
Nah, Joshua fights Whyte if he loses. Price ain't gonna sniff anyone else in the top 15. I think they're done giving him chances.
Oh I hope not.Course Ellerbe is right when he says he wouldn’t mind seeing him get KOd the other day as he should not be fighting anymore if he can’t face that very real prospect. Not possible for the corner to save you every time.
If Joshua losses to Ruiz in rematch, I would still like to see him fight Fury, Wilder, Pulev, Uysk etc. Joshua has already proven how good he is before he lost to Ruiz, do not know why people can not just give Ruiz credit for his win, instead of trying to bash Joshua because of it. Yes Joshua was overhyped, so is every fighter with a good resume and no defeats, but the hype has gone now. Joshua gave us a hell of a lot of good fights including the Ruiz fight, I don’t understand why people do not appreciate that, do you really want top heavyweights to be so scared of a loss that they fight joke fights one after another, and only fight quality opponents when they are forced to. I think Joshua has done a great job giving fans what they want. Ruiz is better than a lot of members of this forum are giving him credit for, he beat someone with the most impressive resume of this current bunch of heavyweights. Neither Wilder, Fury or Uysk have beat a heavyweight as good or accomplished as Joshua.
Price will fight and ko a couple of absoloute stiffs next and be ready for "one more roll of the dice"
