Who realistically can he fight if he was to win the British title? I doubt Dubois will defend it 3 times, but looking at the list of title fights, you'd only really give him a chance against either Sexton / Cornish, any other champ in the last 10 years beats him.
I don’t want to see any of them (apart from Bakole) in the ring again, but if they must fight on, Hearn may as well stick on a mini tournament between: Allen, Bakole, Price & Hughie. Let’s have Bakole v Allen / Price v Fury with the winners meeting up. Bakole should emerge from that and will help to push him on promotionally. The others are on the road to nowhere so it makes no difference when they lose again.
Is Bakole classed as a British fighter? Cornish has retired and Sexton may as well have retired now. Gorman and Hughie outbox Allen, Dubois destroys him, Price has already schooled him, Allen is getting nowhere near that belt unless nobody remotely decent wants it, which is kind of what happened with Cornish and Sexton.
He's still just about uk top ten but he really needs a win. Maybe someone in the 10-20 range like a Nick Webb or some such.
