    Can we get a show of hands here for that blatantly scripted performance?

    Holding back power shots, not countering the near-constant Canelo left hook, and the commentators declaring a KO within a split second of the first Canelo punch landing.

    There was something deeply "off" about that fight.

    Funny my brother texted me dive. I didn’t feel it was one but I see more and more ppl feel it was. I had that vibe from lot of ppl talking about the fight like Teddy Atlas if you read between the lines but to each their own.

    Maybe.

    Kovalev seemed to be holding back during the fight, and he went down too easily and turned around into the ropes.

    But I'm not sure.

    Because those people who were picking Kovalev need something to comfort them from the sting of being so wrong. It's pathetic. Youre right, it was a brutal knockout. He got dropped.

    No, it wasn't a dive. Caneklo is a diva, liar and he got tons of gifts from judges, but he beat Kovalev fair and square. And KO was nasty - how can anybody question it?

    Yeah I felt the KO was legit. But I also felt Kovalev held back some too - and the announcers were constantly explaining why - how he would get countered if he did- it was over kill. Kovalev fought like a very old man - maybe weight was an issue or maybe too soon from last fight whatever reason he fought a tentative brittle fight

    when has a kovalev ever thrown a jab at 20%? All night? Then gets folded by a combo he blocked like 100 times? Are you ****ing kidding me?
