Gervonta Davis and Adrien Broner Fought Backstage

I knew that Broner would be jealous of the attention Davis is now getting.

 

Because alot of them are a product of their environment. They grew up in bad situations with no fathers where being too passive is a sign of weakness and being aggressive is awared and admired. They dont see people who go to work every day and bring home alot of money it's the drug dealers who have the power money or the gangsters or rappers or pro athletes they also have all the women as well. It's hard to explain but that's just how it is when you're raised in the hood not for everyone but for a large majority. As far as hip hop music it's just a reflection of what's going on in the hood so they relate to it and live it. What's funny is alot of these rappers arent even from the hood and are raping about **** they only heard about

I grew up in the hood and did alot of crazy **** coming up so i understand people like davis and broner. With that said i was pretty lucky in my early 20s i started to meet more people who weren't from the hood and it helped me get out and see a different way others arent so fortunate.

 

Usually guys who live the "G" and "thug life" lifestyle as you call it are broke, uneducated, devoid of opportunity and powerless. They have no clout, prestige, success, skill or respect in society. So they play up the "G" lifestyle as a way to make themselves look dangerous and powerful in an attempt to gain respect from others. Which comes from insecurity.

For guys like Broner and Davis though they made a lot of money they dont need to behave like this. But old habits die hard. Plus the media has glorified the G lifestyle through fashion, music and movies.

Have to keep in mind too that Davis comes from West Baltimore too. Which is known for being the worst hood in the country. Take a drive through there one day and you will not believe what your eyes see.

 

Good post. I'm a firm believer that people are a product of their environment. You dont get to choose how and where you were raised. The young mind is an impressionable mind and old habits die hard. For a lot of people once you get pulled in you stay in.

 

Tank would punch Broner out, broner lost his reflexes he would get caught by Tank imho. Who knows broner is a vet but I favor Tank.

 

punching your mate, if they are mates, is a low move. i doubt spence would do it or the charlos, punching the head of each other because they have a disagreement, other than in the ring. broner is a ****ing dummy as thick as ****.

I agree.. I always hoped tank would get away from broner because he's a bad influence on him hopefully this will make him see the light. I actually think broner is jealous of tank.

 

broner isnt young though, 30 isnt young. if it was davis being a fool id give him a bit more leeway. 30 is ****ing mature, hes always going to be a very impulsive stupid clow.

Broner is old enough to know better but you cant teach old dogs new tricks. Hes set in his way.

Remember the scene in the Wire where they try to reform criminals and those headed down the wrong path? Then they conclude these guys are too far gone and hardened we have to go younger to have a chance? Thats Broner, at this point he is who he is.
