I know we’re all frustrated. I know most of us are bewildered by what happened last night. I understand why people are angry with both Canelo and SK. Believe me I know how dismayed some of you are with the politics of boxing and steroid users receiving passes. After calming myself down, I have taken a step back and decided to look at things from Segey’s perspective. With all things considered and if we are honest with ourselves, I think most of us would have accepted the same deal were we in the same position as SK

Remember this is a man who has children’s bellies to feed. A man who has achieved all there is to achieve in the game and is on his way out. No more big fights, and a win would be nothing more than another note on his record and be dimissed due to him being heavier at the weight. This guy received little credit for beating prime Yarde, you think there was going to be had he beaten Canelo? Canelo would have still received plaudits for being brave'', ''taking risks'', ''still a champion'' etc

Now ask yourselves If Oscar was to walk into your gym after a long hard session, you're drained with sweat, hungry and tired due to old age and going over the same drills preparing for another big fight.

Oscar turns up wit his 5-piece pressed suit that’s been finely polished and dry cleaned that goes along with slick black shined up shoes, topped off with a glistening smile and a brief case filled to the brim with 100 dollar bills, before sitting you down and proposing this

‘’Kovalev I think you’re a great champion and a great man, I respect you. Canelo respects you and that’s why Golden Boy Promotions chose you to be the dance partner for El Canelo. And that's is why I’m here today ''

''. Make no mistake, you’ve done an incredible job for this sport which we all appreciate. You’ve had a long hard career filled with highs and lows, bodies on the record, not to mention being robbed. It's been a long journey for you. And for that reason, I feel as If it’s my duty to make sure you’re duly compensated for all you’ve done for the sport of boxing.

''I know you’re comfortable, but for generations to come, you need to ask yourself will they be comfortable?''

''What if I said to you I will double your purse and you won’t ever have to fight again? All I ask of you, is for this one and only occasion, throw the bout. One extra loss will do no harm for your reputation. At this point in your career, no one expects you to go the full 12 let alone win against a p4p fighter in their prime. The public understand you’re at the tail end of your career so no one will be too hard on you''

''What we'd like to see is for a story line to play out before you take a fall. I want you to dominate Canelo, but don’t look for the knockout. Canelo will be on the back foot remaining competitive but seemingly losing his grip on the fight and when all seems lost …. BOOM, El Canelo pulls the rabbit out of the hat and in the championship rounds you take the dive.''

So why do you guys watch? If in your simple mind thats what boxing is about why do you watch it and spend hours coming up with a novel to post on here and explain how its fixed?

Ok read, but takes a back seat to the Fury and Hearn/Joshua posts.

Nice read, looks like finished and polished script for some indian drama.

Kovalev fought like he had fishnets and high heels on.

Kovalev was embarrassing, he didn't throw a punch at over 30% power and got backed up by a light middleweight. Remember canelo couldn't put a mark on Ricky Hattons brother but he's knocking kovalev into next week and we are supposed to believe he's a clean fighter. Do me a favour he's a cheating fight fixing scumbag.

I think it’s fair to say you have been frustrated and bewildered ever since you were born.

How old is Canelo now and how old was he when he fought Hatton.

Boxing is clearly not for you.

He hit the Welterweight hatton with every punch in the book and he didn't have a scratch on him yet he's knocking out light heavyweights in to the middle of next week.

Are you trying to say he has gained tremendous power through age and not steroids.
