Traditionally fan favourites have always been big punchers as the boxing casuals love to see a KO. Who are the boxers that made it in the sport without having significant KO power?

Paulie Malignaggi is the one that immediately springs to mind although at the lower weights there are numerous examples, so how about the bigger divisions? Who are the guys who made it despite having feather fists?

Sergio Martinez comes to mind. The amount of posters that had the hots for Maravilla was head-scratching.

Definitely wouldn't call him feather fisted, he could really crack when he wanted to! Had that fan friendly hands down style though , people love that

Martinez was not a big puncher but you're right he did have some memorable KO's.

    Tell that to Paul Williams...

Mayweather is one. Especially north of 140.

    Tyson Fury springs to mind.

The Williams KO is what prompted me to write my previous post.

I don't think boxing has seen a feather-fist as beloved as Malignaggi since Pep.

Internationally, anyway. Within domestic bounds there has been rabid obsessive love for, say, Omar Andrés Narváez in Argentina, for instance.

Anthony Crolla is firmly on the list. Not many fighters get a testimonal from their own fans.
