Re. the Inoue vs Nonito and Clenelo vs Kovalev comparisons To be fair, even though Nonito is way past his best, he's not DONE-aire like Kovalev is who was 4-3 in his last 7 fights, had been stopped x 2 by relatively light punchers in 2 of those 3 losses, and only managed to escape being 3-4 in his last 7 and being stopped x 3 by the skin of his teeth after almost getting KTFO by a rank novice who had never fought anyone with a pulse before. Nonito lives a clean life, doesn't drink Vokda like it's going out of fashion, throws punches with mean intentions, and his chin and savage power are or at least have been up until now still intact. If Nonito was the same size as Kovalev or vice versa this way past prime version of him would KO this shot version of Kov early in HL reel fashion.
The top5 is pretty damn crowded as it is, with Lomachenko, Crawford, Usyk, Inoue and Alvarez now too. Brutally beating a past it Donaire, despite winning the tournament and Nonito never been beaten at 118 (7-0, 5KO's of which 5 titlefights), it doesn't seem enough to tip the scales in such a highly talented group. Beating a past it Kovalev at 175 wasn't either... beating Kavaliauskas sure doesn't do the trick. Definitely not beating gatekeeper Witherspoon, and eeking out a close decision against Derevyanchenko or Porter only seems drop worthy for the list. Still, something has to and it's all up for interpretation anyway.
I would love for Rigo to reclaim his prime back. That would make for the best 122 matchup ever. Inoue vs prime Rigo.
Comparatively, to his weight class, he is more impressive than Crawford, or Lomachenko. They are going rounds with mediocre opposition. Crawford is getting rounds from guys who aren't even top 10 guys in Khan, and Benevidez. Lomachenko is going hard rounds with Tank's son, and Linares' left overs. While Inoue, is destroying guys in two rounds, who are comparatively for their weight class just as good as the mediocre opposition that Crawford and Lomachenko have been facing lately.
I think the monster will absolutely demolish donaire . There is no way he will be able to keep the monster off him
It's the body of work, dummy. Inoue violently KO'd 3 dudes in his new weight class in under 4 combined rounds. There is no more dominant stretch in boxing.
I just put you in your place you clueless little sh*t. Just read for a while, don't comment until you know a thing or two or you get embarrassed every time. Now gtfo of my sight.
