The things Inoue has done in less than 20 fights is absolutely insane.

7-3. Inoue back on his toes using his legs to stay in a safe space and pummel Donaire.

    Does Donaire retire now?

He looked well in that, fought superbly, it's a difficult one really, if he was blasted out or was stopped then I think most would say yeah he should call it a day.

But he offered so much and showed he still has the goods. I think on that performance he beats most of that division.

I hope whatever he does he doesn't regret it, he was superb tonight, couldn't ask any more of him.

Clenelo has too many asterisks next to his name. I'm not overlooking the BS decisions, failed tests and careful manovouring by his handlers. a lot of people see through it. It's BS man.

During that period when Donaire was in control and he nearly knocked Inoue out, I was thinking if he did it, what a brilliant book ending of the decade. He was the best going into it for the first two years. And then to knock out a top p4per a decade younger than him who was everything he used to be seven years ago at the tale end? Sealing the deal and getting perhaps the decade's best win. A knockout win over Inoue would eclipse Pacquiao's Thurman win. Maybe, that could have made him Fighter of the Decade.

I will agree canelo getting caught on peds is off putting but no way I can put Inoue above loma or Crawford at this point. Even if he blasted Nonito in the 1st and you know how much loma threatens me and I hate to say that.

Hell of a fight. Donaire given 40 seconds to beat the count from that liver shot. Beats the count, get pummelled, then hurts Inoue with a left hook. Big Inoue round.

Yeah it would've been a hell of a win if he managed to pull it off at this stage of his career and there were times during the fight I thought he just might will do so as well. That was an extremely nerve-racking 45 minutes for me.
