I think two of the Big Five have elevated from the others.

    1. Canelo
    2. Inoue

I was pulling for this so bad. There were numerous occasions in that fight where I thought Nonito just needed one flush left hook to end it. Credit to Naoya for the mental fortitude he showed when he was hurt.

Nah loma and Crawford have just done more and looked as dominant. Inoue needs nery and oubali and I’ll have him tied with those 2.

9-3 117-110 Inoue. Not a close fight round wise, but a hell of a fight in spots.

Inoue just took years off of Donaire's life.

You gotta add Lomachenko to that. These guys are giving size and reach while doing their accomplishments. Which Crawford and Spence don't. And it is on question for Inoue but since Donaire was the bigger man tonight.

Crawford doesn't have a single win that competes with Inoue defeating two #1's in Hernandez and Narvaez.

Compare their 5 or 10 best wins; it's Inoue over Crawford all day and comfortably.

I see no argument for Crawford being viewed over Inoue.

Nonito had a lot more left than Kovalev did the other day and he was extremely dangerous right up until the end throwing monster left hooks and straight rights with mean intentions. The whole David vs Goliath angle that Golden Bum were pushing about Clenelo jumping up 2 divisions was greatly exaggerated. Sure Kov had a significant height advantage but reach (2'') and weight wise there was **** all in it . Clen jumped up 2 divisions to face a LHW who has been coming in around the SMW fight night weight range of late and that's exactly the same range Clenelo comes in. Kova weighed 180 and 182 respectively for Eleider Alvarez II and Yarde, Clenelo would've weighed about 180. He was still dehydrated at the weigh in after weighing a ripped 175 (or just under). Hence why he was reaching for the liquids lol

And ''Goliath'' was a shot drunkard with shitty stamina who isn't hitting anywhere near as hard as he was in his prime and whose chin is cracked. Clenelo has never stopped anyone world class above Clenelo weight and one of those fighters he did stop at Clenelo weight was blown up featherweight Khan lol. Nonito was hella dangerous tonight from first bell to last.

Bro Nonito has me shitting my pants but at the same time a little part of me was rooting for him he’s just such a stand up guy and I rooted for him way before I even knew Inoue existed. I know people like to cite his earlier work but how he went devil mode against darchinyan in their second fight after being down in there cards is my favorite donaire moment.

That's how you pass a torch. I wish all of the other top p4pers of the decade had done as much. Martinez ducked Golovkin. Floyd ducked Brook, Khan, Spence, Porter, Thurman, and Bradley. Pacquiao ducked Brook, Khan, Spence, Crawford, and Porter. Ward and Kovalev ducked Beterbiev, Gvozdyk, Stevenson, and Bivol. Golovkin gave Canelo his chance. Wlad gave Fury and Joshua theirs. Hopkins passed it to Kovalev. Marquez passed it to Bradley. Rigondeaux passed his to Lomachenko.

Yeah it's hard to not root for a guy like Nonito. Big time underdog against Inoue but turned back the clock to really give himself a chance at the biggest win of his career.

As for favorite Nonito moments, mine has to be the destruction of Montiel. I was hyped and scared coming into the fight considering the momentum that Montiel came in with (his addition to The Ring P4P list and his starching of Hasegawa in Japan) but Nonito just wasted him. That Nonito left hook, after all these years, is still proven to be one of the most dangerous punches to take in the sport.

Prime Nonito was unstoppable. No one could beat that Donaire. I still remember his interview around the rigo fight where he said he had no motivation to box since he achieved so much and 6-7 years later he just gave the monster his hardest fight.
