Probably not, because if the rematch happens Fury will be KOed cold.
Anyway, Wilder needs to beat Ortiz first

Isn't the fight already set (date and all), pending Wilder's win?

I'm not sure he will. If he does I expect Wilder to knock him out this time. I think Wilder would have looked back at the first fight and thought he could have attacked Fury a lot more than he did, he fell into the trap of watching fury do his jerky "I'm about to attack you any second" style and was wary to attack. he will now know that fury does very little offensively and just go at him.
I could be wrong but I feel that Furys style wouldn't do well in rematches.

Expect an impending wrestling injury to be used as an excuse on why Fury can't fight Wilder.

    In response to your thread.

    EDITING 07 NOVEMBER 2019
Fury replies to Wilder: "I'll be ready for you on February 22nd!"
The verbal match between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury continues unabated. On Monday, the champion Wbc Wilder said that Fury is afraid to fight it again and for this reason he is preparing to "move" into the world of wrestling and the world of mixed martial arts.

Yesterday, Wilder told Sky Sports: "I don't think Fury ever wanted revenge. I can understand him! He knows how to run and he's doing it as far as possible from me. Unfortunately he signed a contract for him. the pen is a silent warrior and Fury will have to pay dearly in a court for this decision not to respect the agreements.

The response of the Wilmslow giant arrived immediately on social networks:

"If I were afraid of you I wouldn't have confronted you! You had to rob me to get a draw. I don't know why you ever think I'm bothered by you. Just get over your fight with Ortiz, do your thing, stop using my name to advertise you. See you on February 22nd to finish what I started, this time your big dossier will be destroyed.

Although nothing is official, it seems that the Fury and Wilder teams are in contact to agree on next year's rematch, although much will depend on the outcome of the challenge between Wilder and Ortiz on November 23 in Las Vegas. Wilder coach Jay Deas has declared a short time ago that to face Fury in revenge it takes three full months of preparation. On February 22, therefore, he would be out of the fear of Deas.

Why is Wilder so full of **** when trying to sell a fight. Now we have wilder stating Ortiz is a harder fighter than Fury. Absolute clown can't wait for Fury to beat him AGAIN.

Possibly Ortiz could upset Fury. Ortiz is ancient, but he is a hard hitting southpaw. We all saw what a light hitting 46 ranked southpaw did to Fury.

Of course Ortiz is a much harder fight, why are you so incensed with that idea?

Take your Fury church hat off your head and consider that Ortiz has something Fury doesn't have and that's knockout power.

Would you rather face a man who can knock you out with one punch or someone who is going to be running on the back foot throwing pitta patta shots and be more concerned with taunting to fool the judges that they are winning rounds they are not actually winning?

Who won the fight?? Oh Fury yes. Wilder is rematching a 47 year old who everybody seems to think is some killer but has never beat a top 10 guy. Ortiz is off PEDs and the first fight v wilder the doctor tried to pull him out 2 hours before the fight!! He wouldn't even be a threat to anyone in the top 10.

It was ruled a draw and no winner who feels as though they were robbed ducks an immediate rematch and instead chooses to fight two bums to tune up and prepare for the same opponent they felt they beat.

    That's spastic logic.

Which is why it's never happened in the history of the sport. Every fight that felt they were robbed were chopping at the bit to get back in the ring against the opponent they felt they had the better of.

Lastly If Ortiz is 47 years old according to your ******ed thinking, then Fury is at least 40 years old considering the amount of wrinkles and balding on his face and the state of his physique which is worse than Ortiz's.

If Fury wasn't after Wilder he'd be fat and back on the coke by now

    This content is protected

Cannot wait to watch Wilder flap around the ring like he's about to take off again

IMO Wilder doesn't want any part of a fit Fury, nor should he, fat Fury took his best shot (and a left hook to boot) and then he got up to embarrass Wilder further.

Not much Deontay can do other than run for as many PBC fights as he can

And I'm sure Arum won't settle for all Fury fights being against bums, its a big investment and he will want return...

You are the one with the spastic logic.

Tyson didn't want an immediate rematch. He knows that he took the first fight too soon. And he'd done nothing but train for a full year at that point.

He needed an easy fight or two. And the reason he signed with Arum and ESPN was to build his profile in the U.S. to make the rematch bigger than the first one.

Why would a guy who was robbed of a win when he wasn't at his best after 3 years out, duck a rematch?

    Where's the logic there?

He'll feel even more confident the second time around.

Fury is on record stating he was ready for the immediate rematch and even taunted Wilder to remind him to turn up for the fight, similar to the video posted in this thread.

He ducked the rematch because he knew he escaped with in inch of his life in the first fight and his wife was begging him not to fight ever again.

So you need to go back to the drawing board, revisit those comments from tyson about agreeing to the immediate rematch, so you don't make yourself look stupid by coming up with ridiculous statements that Fury didn't want the immediate rematch

I won't be surprised when Fury fails to turn up in Feburary, we'll have deluded spastics telling us once again that he never wanted the rematch.

How long have you been watching Fury?

He's interviewed on a regular basis.

In the last 6 months alone, he's said the following:

    Wilder is a useless bum.

    Wilder is extremely dangerous.

He doesn't know if he wants a rematch.

He can't wait to get him back in the ring.

    He may retire early.

He can see himself boxing for a long time.

He may only have 3 fights left.

    That's what he does.

    None of it matters.

The only thing that matters, is that he's contractually obligated to fight 5 times for ESPN, and Bob Arum, Frank Warren and Ben Davis, have all been clear from the outset and said that they want to fight Wilder again in a huge rematch.

Do you not watch any of their interviews?

You guys get your panties in a twist when he fights a guy like Schwartz, yet this has been Arum's plan all along that he's been very open about. Arum wants him active whilst he tries to raise his profile in America. And that's what's happening.

He's had 2 fights live in America, he's been on late night talk shows, and he's just starred in the WWE.

    He hasn't ducked any rematch.

It hasn't even been a year since they last fought.

Why don't you think before you type?

You say he's ducked the rematch because he only escaped with an inch of his life?

Yet the first thing he did after that fight, was to sign a huge deal with a huge company and a legendary promoter, in order to make the rematch as big as possible.

What are you going to do with yourself when he signs for the rematch and I bump these threads?

Who'll be the one looking stupid then?
