Talk about insecure. This guy just won the toughest fight of his life. Great fight, FOTY in my opinion. Credit to Inoue for giving Donaire this shot and to both guys for fighting so bravely. This is what great boxing is all about. The fight had everything, drama, a bad cut, ups and downs, etc. Too many fights these days don’t live up to the hype or billing. It was refreshing to see a real fight where both guys laid it on the line. Inoue earned a tough decision. I’m tired of seeing mismatches and questionable decisions. This fight was what boxing is all about and why I love the sport. Hope some of the other belt holders and challengers were watching.

Exposed doesn't necessarily mean he is now bad. But this fight did expose his limits. Donaire is FAR removed from his prime. A great fighter in his prime should not struggle so much with a far past his prime great.
I think it told us what we need to know about him.. Where there were question marks in the past... His chin seems iron!
I think this fight is a positive thing for Inoue, he showed what he is made of. That cut was bad and clearly affected him plus he had a great dancing partner. This one is going to be remembered.
He was exposed by a 4 weight world champion who is a future hall of famer EH . I thought inoue would blast him tbh so fair play to donaire who fought a great fight . Make no mistake inoue is the real deal and will take some stopping . Only way he gets beat is when canelo drops down and takes him to Vegas
I would say he's not been exactly exposed,,but simply put into the proper perspective. I wouldn't say he could beat someone like Carlos Zarate but he's a very good bantam.
Let's also keep in mind that this was Inoue's first real test with adversity and he passed it. He's still young and fresh and he has a lot time to improve on himself. I would say this was more of a wake up call for Inoue but also a good learning experience. Every fighter gets to that point of facing tough challengers and I can only see Inoue getting better after this fight.
Every great fighters can struggle on any given night.. donaire was sharp and really came to fight. Inoue showed all qualities a great fighter possessed. That’s what exposed last night.
Inoue was in fact exposed... For having a granite jaw, world class focus and stamina, and carries his power late.
