Let's remind ourselves that David Diaz is nothing special.

I know exactly what happened to the limited Katsidis......

....this limited fighter was beating the crap out of Casamayor, when the green Katsidis provided all the power by running right smack into Casamayor's left.

Casamayor did'nt have to do anything but stick his left out there, Katsidis provided all the power by running right head on into it!

Btw, the fans know and see that Casamayor is a badly faded fighter, but trust me, Nacho Beristein will have JMM physically and mentally ready as if he were fighting a prime Casa!

.....but lets be honest here, Casamayor has lost quite a bit of his speed and reflexes.
Honestly, Casamayor certainly knows what to do to make it an ugly fight. He's that type of fighter, but I'd be shocked if Casamayor wins past 2 rounds.

Why bring baseball into this, because I went to a baseball game tonight instead of catching the Pac-Diaz mismatch?:D

Its not nonsense, divac. It was pretty logical for Pac to fight JMM at 130 than at 135. Pac had more to gain at 130, as we have already seen. He not only won the WBC SFW title, he also won the RING belt. If he fought JMM at 135, he wouldn't have gotten the RING belt and probably wouldnt have gotten the WBC belt as well. That is to say he wouldnt have gotten anything out of the fight if it happened at LW(except the money).

Pac made a wise choice by picking 130. Whether or not Pac had difficulty moving down at 130 is somewhat irrelevant. Because even if lets say he did have difficulty, he would've still sacrificed that and still pick 130 because he had more to gain at that weight legacy wise.

Oh OK! I forgot. They are in DREAMLAND! JMM winning over pac 2x!:rofl

    One last parting words....
They forgot that JMM travelled thousands of miles to beg for a fight!
Winners don't travel thousands of miles for a rematch! Trust me! :yep

I'm out here! I don't want to argue with somebody whos mindset is still in DREAMLAND! :dead

I dont even have to provide a link, all you have to do is open a new thread asking this very forum.....even *******s of the highest order know its common knowleadge that Pac was moving up to 135 lbs to fight David Diaz, and was going to leave 130 lbs without fighting JMM.

When it became apparent that talks had broken down between GBP and Bob Arum for a fight between JMM and Pac, at a point even that Marquez was accepting less than a 60/40 split.......Pac's very own Pacland, went crazy with criticism of Manny Pacquiao for ducking JMM.....
......links everywhere stated that Pac was about to sign to fight David Diaz within the next few days......
.....thats when JMM went public in television and websites, announcing that he was lowering his financial demands to close to what a challenger would make, and that Pac could chose the weight he wished......

Thats when Pac, likely out of embarrasment, as he was being bombarded with criticism from his own country and his own fans, thats when Pac and Arum decided to take the JMM fight.

JMM conceding to every demand, and the public pressure fromt he boxing fan is what swayed Pac to fight JMM, or he would have skipped out on even having the chance to win a title at 130 lbs.

I Just gave you the truth, and if you want others account of the truth, go ahead and open a thread, so that you can then take a hike for a month!:bbb :deal

Why would pac risk the fight at jr. lightweight if he knew he would be drain and therefore not 100 percent? His legacy would have been effected almost equally had he beat JMM at 135. Pac wouldnt have won a belt but belts these days dont mean much. The weight is irrelevant, pac knows he has equal chance of beating JMM at 130 as he does at 135. I know the *******s blew their load over the win against Diaz. a good performance over an average fighter, but he still cant beat JMM.:deal

Because for a guy like Pac, he doesn't care if whether or not he's 100%. As long as he's confident that he can beat his opponent, it doesnt matter to him. And he was obviously very confident in beating Marquez.

Ask yourself this, why in the blue hell did Pac pick 130 instead of 135 if not only for the belts? Think about it. He's obviously better off at 135, but he still picked 130. There's no other reason for it than the belts, plus the fact that even though he might have difficulty going down, he still was VERY capable of going down and perform at a high level. High enough level for him to be confident in beating JMM.

hmm... didn't this fight happen more than 3 months ago and still your're sulking... i guess some people are not capable of moving on and still live in the past. :-(

if i were you, i'll be more concerned about your fighter moving up another weight class after such a short (3 fights) and lackluster stint @130. he's taking on casa this sept. in a virtual must-win situation for him if he ever wants to get a chance to fight pac again. now, that is definitely something to think about more and not dwell in the past.
