    Full of ****.. money making.. not a single impact on boxing.. in fact it cheapens the sport.. I know solid amateurs who are hesitant about turning pro.. and these two ****s who never put gloves on are fighting as professionals.. gtfoh.

    It's not huge for boxing. It might be bad for boxing. If it's successful, there will be more of these freak shows in the future and real professional boxers will get sidelined.

    Brother Lance! Don't paint these young fans all the same! It's difficult to imagine out of 20mil followers a few won't become real boxing fans. If 1 out of 10 start following, that's 2mil new fans. Who knows what triggers young folk to like this or that. I know an older guy at work who is a Pittsburge Steeler fan because, when he was young, he thought it was cool that the Steelers were the only team that had the team logo on just one side of the helmet.

    Regardless of how we feel, the truth is YouTube will overtake general TV. This fight is huge for boxing because it's an event that attracts younger viewers to our sport, the same way Rocky brought a lot of people to boxing back in the 80s etc. Some kid could watch this fight and 15 years later could be the best boxer this world has ever seen, you just don't know. I know for a fact in the past 2 years boxing channels on YouTube have been gaining a lot more views. Boxing is on the up. This is great for boxing. Put it this way my son and his friends have been talking about boxing because of this event. Time to move with the times you old gits lol

    i genuinely don't get the fuss about watching 2 novice boxers even if they are apparently well known on youtube.
    Kind of sums up the very odd times we live in.
