Not saying this after the event as I mentioned this the other day about Saunders struggling against opponents that are well below his level.Hes come close to losing before against stay busy opponents and yet it never seems to spill into his game when there’s something on the line. I’ve always thought Saunders gives Canelo fits over twelve rounds as at his best he’s not there to hit. I know folk will s*** on his performance against Lemieux on account of Lemieuxs come forward basic style but anyone who knows Lemieux knows how dangerous he is if he connects. Just get fed up with Saunders for his sabbaticals every time he starts to make a name for himself.
If Saunders does possess some power?then imo he would have to use against Canelo as outboxing over twelve rounds is unlikely to get him the win.Sure I heard that either one of the judges or all three had Canelo winning the first round against Kovalev?lol if proof is needed Canelo did absolutely nothing in that round and somehow won it lol.
That’s a perfectly logical way of thinking about it mate one that’s the opposite of mine and that’s fine with me as I wasn’t really that interested in the first place, certainly not interested enough to be sucked into a meaningless argument, if you want to argue your point about it you’re better off with someone else mate. I said my piece and even admitted that I wasn’t ‘certain by any means’.
im only interested enough to post as much as you did, no different. reality is not hard to recognize.
Well thats your opinion...Some may have the opinion that your a bit naive ?/ But you know what they say about opinions an all....
I didn’t look to discredit you or your points, you did try to discredit me and my points and so you came across as someone looking for an argument, I was just explaining my reasoning, so recognise the reality that while you may or may not have posted the same amount as I did, there where very clear differences in the nature of your posts. I might have mistaken you for some one who was looking for an argument but that was down to your argumentative responses, I was just making sure that you didn’t mistake me for some who was interested in arguing about something I wasn’t that interested in to begin with, but if you were paying attention in reality it wasn’t hard to realise.
i addressed your post because of its ridiculous nature. its narratives like those that make this site appear like a hangout for know nothings. as much as i think posts like those are counter productive to a better understanding of boxing by the less knowledgeable posters, i still respect your right to post them, and i exercise my right to challenge them. if bjs, by some miracle, ever beat canelo, i would take that same energy and post about how completely wrong i was, just to stay consistent.
Saunders will not be able to get through Canelo`s high guard with out getting countered, he`s never faced anything like that.
I didn’t mention the outcome of a potential bjs Canelo fight, if you do post how completely wrong you may have been then post it to someone who you had that discussion with because it wasn’t this conversation/ attempted argument. If you respect my right in future then it’s probably best to show respect instead of commenting on what you perceive to be my coping deficiencies and the embarrassment you feel about my opinion, then I might be convinced of your respect for my opinion and my right to post them.
i try to be honest, and im used to speaking bluntly. im not going to apologize for either of those things. im fully aware of how my posts come across, and i fully expect retaliation, thats why i tend to have my ducks in a row.
That won`t land on Canelo`s defense I don`t think you realise how tight his guard is and how fast his counters are.
Canelo is a counter/pressure fighter, him walking forward is a ploy to draw leads onto his guard, didn`t you watch the Kov fight?
